1. so one of the biggest things holding us back from gen 6 & 7 pokemon is how programming the new regions is currently to big of a project to take on. But what if we could add them without having to program a whole new functioning region... we already have gen 8 rules and moves added to the game, so it wouldnt be much further to add newer gen pkmn. so this is my idea on how it could be done in a fun way adding life and variety to the game. I would love to get some discussion from the other players on this! Pokemon Migrations & Black Market Merchants This event idea has two stages to it, migratory Pokemon and black market merchants, but they both play as two parts to a greater whole. Not only would this allow for some encounter variety and game-play variety but also allow for gradual implementation of gen 6-8 Pokemon. We already have implementation of gen 6, 7 and 8 moves and rules. So it should be feasible to begin adding these Pokemon in game a few at a time. While the devs are far too focused on getting current regions working properly (which i am very grateful for) its to much to begin to think of adding new regions. Adding new gen Pokemon a few at a time however, may be something a little more feasible and help to wet the players apatite for new content til the devs are ready to move onto new regions. So, imagine if certain types of Pokemon migrated between regions on a seasonal basis (similar to how the legendary dogs of old used to shift what routes they were on). Namely birds, insects and fish and other animal types known for migratory patterns. Each season certain Pokemon would show up in the wild in regions they don't normally show up in. Only a limited few Pokemon migrate at any given time and newer gen Pokemon can be added to migration groups as they are added to the game. While limited to species known for migrating such as birds, fish and insects what happens with the rest of the newer gen Pokemon? In answer to that, it seems our old black market magikarp buddy is up to his old tricks again. And, he's roped some friends into it as well. He still sells Pokemon for outrageous sums of money, however he's upped his game. Through underground sources he has begun to bring Pokemon from different regions to sell to clientele looking for something a little more rare in their home regions. His criminal buddies in other regions have also picked up the act. They will be found hiding behind buildings or in suspicious bushes etc, changing location as well as Pokemon available for sale each week. Sometimes they can bring in gen 6-8 pokemon as well. The black market dealers aren't the only ones in on the action however. Traveling breeders are looking to trade rare Pokemon from far off regions for certain local Pokemon they are interested in each week. They can be found in port towns. They serve a similar purpose but trade Pokemon for Pokemon instead. They will show up in a random location in a random port town each week. One last group of essentric individuals have noticed the desire for far off Pokemon and have decided its a great way to increase their collection of rare items. Collectors in port towns will trade you Pokemon from other regions for items they are looking to add to their collections. They will show up in a random location in a random port town each week. This will give players something to search for in game on a weekly or seasonal basis, and add some life and variety to the game as well as give an opportunity to add newer gen Pokemon without having to add a whole new region just yet. New Pokemon to be added in this way could be voted on for each cycle, letting the players decide what they want to see next. And searching for the npc's each week would give a feature similar to destiny's Xur where players have to find where he is, thus increasing community interaction. This could also be a great way to implement event and holiday varieties of pokemon, such as christmas hat wearing pokemon, crystal rock pokemon pink pokemon and tiger stripe pokemon.
2. so having replayed the other regions now as well.... def something weird with hoenn difficulty... comparatively the rest were ridiculously easy... this is just from my experience and testing. mostly it was the issue of every gym leader having all the most powerful coverage abilities making my choice of pokemon they were weak against very difficult.
3. i noticed that a lot of gym leaders have far more coverage moves than the origional games... but thats rly the only time i have any issues.. but then i just grab 20 max revives and grind through the gym leader... outside of that i never use recovery items
4. i love the ocarinas! they are great convenience item for players who want to support the game with donations! whether it be sweet scent, dig, teleport etc. move ocarinas are always a great idea imo! also the idea that adding ocarinas to the shop will break the economy is rediculous... if some players no long using berries or ropes is gonna break the game then there is something far worse wrong with the game.
5. would be rly cool to be able to make our own mini gyms that way! would also love to see the little holes in the wall in other regions as well eventually, and team bases! as far as balancing it perhaps limiting it like the phone contacts... also the more often a player clone gets defeated in a given amount of time the less money they give, more the npc wins and longer time without defeat means more reward... could also make player gym trophies that can be used as decorations in your own base showing how many player gyms you beat.
6. but dig alone basically makes escape ropes obsolete anyways.... rly its just about convenience and supporting the devs... dont wana buy the move ocarina dont buy it... want to support the devs then buy stuff from the shop... personally id love to have more things to support game development with.... whats so wrong with having another item in the shop to support game development by buying? its not game breaking.... if we need gold sinks so bad then make the move tutors cost a bunch of gold to use instead of shards.
7. ya i wish there was a way to implement this... i know u can just go breed a new one and level it up but sometimes thats a pain... especially when u need a pokemon for a specific battle and thats the only time u plan to use it ever but its 1 level above ur current lvl limit for the battle. perhaps there could be a limit on how many levels and how many times you can reduce.... like for instance theres an npc in each region lets you lower a pokemons level once. after that cant do it again... or an individual pokemon has a flat level reduction limit of 3 lvls or something? just some brainstorming...
8. start with getting the right natures for pokemon u wana use once u decide on some pokemon... u can look up best natures and builds online
9. are you the same guy who threw a fit about armor transmogs on Division 2????
10. same reason they have HM ocarinas.... to support game development and keep the servers up and give people willing to support the game another option to do so for the sake of convenience..... not everyone is going to buy one it wont make escape rope anymore obsolete than the hm ocarinas make the hm's

12. if we are going for appearance my fav is premier ball easily.... but with the latest update allowing us to change a pokemons ball i can use whatever fits the pokemon type best for capture then change to my fav ball!!! premier just fits my whole bird master theme i think....
13. *excited squealing* Half my pokeball reskin dream implemented!!! ty!! now i just hope we can change the one our trainer is holding! i think the easiest way would just to have the ball the trainer is holding in the battle and trainer card image show whatever ball their first Pokemon in their party is in
14. exp shares and amnesia braces are your friends XD
15. i saw a post today on unique colored and patterned pokemon from the shows ie crystal onix pink island and tiger striped starters etc... i was thinking having those pokemon show up to capture during special events and holidays would be rly cool... pink pokemon during cancer awareness month, or crystal rock pokemon for new years...
16. 1. persistant pokemon following. itd be nice to have it still following when i relog the game or when im riding my bike 2. secret bases in other regions and team alocated secret bases... most secret bases are just a little hole on a dirt wall. id love to see them placed in regions other than hoenn. 3. box customization and auto sorting. id love to be able to change the background of pokemon boxes and set them to auto sort pokemon i capture to specific boxes based on types.
17. thats assuming everyone would run arround dropping real life money on them... its rly the same as having an ocarina for any of the HMs tbh... of course i spose they could put a gym restriction on it like for HMs or switching regions....
18. yes pls o.o could make for some rly cool in game events for holidays and such similar to how pokego has diferent hats on pikachus during dif seasons and holidays... these reskins could appear in wild during special holidays seasons events and such...
19. i know its not an HM but being able to use dig ocarina to escape caves would be a nice qol shop item so i dont have to have it on a pokemon when i go dungeon spelunking...
20. hey sooo im returning to the game after many years away... how does moving between regions work? do i have to start over from scratch with new pokemon? and if not how do u get the starter pokemon? sorry im sure this was gone over when new regions were released but i kinda missed out on all that
21. pokeball reskin lets you reskin the pokeball your character holds in his image and throws in battles. that way people who like cosmetics of certain ball types can use the cosmetic to match their character. is cosmetic only. also usable on pokemon themselves allowing you to reskin the ball they are in. the old ball will then disappear and be replaced by the new ball skin
22. personally im waiting for gen 7 pokemon to be added so i can finally use my bird team again XD
23.
Actually I don't, I forgot people not from England used these forums, never mind then.
i assumed u meant of the human female variety of birds.....
24. 1. Pants: I would love to see pants in the gift shop.... that way we could change our pants color if we decide to have a new color scheme due to new clothing pieces.... for example my original color scheme had blue pants but when i get the overcoat i wana change my pants to black. 2. Pokeball Swap: This is merely for cosmetic reasons. This would allow a player to change the pokeball a pokemon he owns is in. That way for roleplaying purposes etc or just for a pokeball design they like better a player could change what pokeball type their pokemon is in so when they enter combat they throw that pokeball type out instead of what it was origionaly caught in.
