Guts makes this thing really a beast, cause toxic (or wow haunter) is everywhere, and then it hits even harder... -
I like body slam, cause paralysing the counter/check coming in, isnt that bad imo. And Steelix is a really common and effective wall against that.

I have a question/suggestion about the gift shinys, wouldnt it be nice, to give them a wanted hidden power? (hp grass 24 atk 26 spatk for example, makes not that much difference but gives more versality) BTW: sry 4 offtopic

Altaria's offensive presence isnt that big (~90 Atk/spatk without invest), so fire+dragon are just to hit everything neutral, if you want to run 2 offensive moves. Haze could also be an option.
