You will be able to register for a tournament on the top floor of a Pokemon Center, through the battle PC. I advise comparing it to other Beldums on the GTL or posting in trade chat to see what kind of offers you get. You could also ask a variety of other players in game to help decide on a value you wish to sell your Beldum for.

As the others have stated, you will need to reach either Vermilion City or Slateport City to get back to the other region from which you came.
