We now have the exact same problem with Gengar.

I was curious about the use of sassy Arc to check gengar so i did a couple of calcs. 252 SpA Gengar Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Arcanine: 64-76 (32.4 - 38.5%) -- 3.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery 252 SpA Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Arcanine: 58-69 (29.4 - 35%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery So, whats the scenario you will get. You will bring out Arc to soak up that attack from Gar (and pray you dont get poisoned from sludge bomb). Gengar will switch out and you will morning sun with your Arc (because you need that hp high). You dont have any more options then repeat this move untill you are out of your pp's and your '''gengar check'' will slowly get kills when it takes hit later ingame.
