Yea but he says lvl 15, quag is lvl 20 will that still work? Not sure what other poke are resistant to rock that learn thief. A good cheap way to get thief is throw a male and female poochyena/mightyena into daycare, let them lvl up to learn thief and breed them. The baby will have thief and ability run away might be nice in that area for the higher lvl wilds. Also kecleon only needs a big mushroom to teach it thief, you can also breed those two to get a baby with thief. If kecleon has enough speed it can use camo to turn rock type allowing less damage.

Also can wooper learn thief? Even as an egg move?

Still relevant as to rock smash not being necessary.

Everstone farming doesn't require rocksmash you're wasting a lot of time with the fossils you'll be getting. Just thieving regular wild geodude is more viable and Hoenn Magma hideout is the place to go.

In the end new players really don't care about the exact value of shinys. I've had team mates catch/hatch shinys and even after the whole team tells them the worth, they still take the low ball offers because it's a lot of money to them. Eventually they may regret it but there is only so much hand holding you can do, the economy needs to thrive somehow. The new players can get a good step in the right direction towards breeding/comp and the traders make profit, its a win-win.

Bump, especially with new release of wild catches this deserves another look.

Repeat balls cost a little more than ultra balls, and if you're getting 99% with ultra I don't see it being worth the extra money.

If people don't want blues just run from Clamperl, I'd say from experience the rate of yellows is about 2 to 1 compared to greens. Which I think is fair considering they sell for up to 40k.

Not sure exact % but I feel like lvl 30's are much more common, I guess if you really need shards for a move this could be viable. But farming not so much.

Lanturns, clamperls and relicanth are all capable of being the same lvl at 30. I don't see how the repel trick would work.

Might be speaking for myself but I don't use enough repels or potions to see a point. I'm already too broke breeding to waste on potions and healing items. Plus repels can be used auto after they run out so I don't see it being necessary.

Jolly or Adamant Medicham? Thinking Jolly to speed tie those 80 base like Blaz, is it worth losing that extra power?

This is redundant, but I see many reasons why we won't see Johto in this game. Fire Red and Emerald have essentially the same graphics, leaving Crystal and Heart Gold games very difficult to integrate into this client. Also Crystal and Heart Gold have Kanto built into them already so that'd be real fun having half a game. Why do we need Johto? We already have all the pokemon except for the starters and legendaries, so it'd just be another gym grind and a very boring playthrough. Adding a new region should bring new pokemon, not more story grind. I think much of the same can be said about Sinnoh. Plus from what I hear not too many people here are fond of Gen IV poke, myself included.

Plenty of people have more than one device and you can make new accounts, still easy to spam.

I mean that'd be great for official's that maybe you need to pay to enter, but what would stop people from spamming multi accounts to pvp themselves?

Being broke is something you need to get used to if you want to breed your own comps. I island grind every time I log in and I see plenty of other people doing the same. Now I'm no comp player but I'm definitely closer than I was with older system of breeding. If we lower brace cost it'll lower market value not really making any difference to those who say we need profit to be made off breeding. If you complain about island grinding then you probably complain about catching wild 31's to breed. The new system is allowing perfect comps to be built from the wild entirely from scratch and I love that. Field breeding with artisan cave is amazing! My biggest suggestion would be raising payouts on all trainers to equal those on island 5-7, also having vs seeker work in Hoenn which matching payout rewards. Other ways I make money is shard farming, everstones and mushrooms/scales. I can't remember the last time I grinded payday except when I ev train. Other than breeding I just don't know what the appeal of having tons of money is this game is about.

Waste of effort for something that can be easily bypassed. I'm in my mid 20's I get along just fine with the younger kids here, in my experience it's the players my own age that cause the most problems.

Hi guys, wondering if this is a good investment to breed. Was planning a modest 31/even/31/30/31/30 with move set of sunny day, solar beam, hp fire, and sludge bomb. Is this worth the time to breed or would I be better off with a 5x31 and run sleep powder on it or another move? Also please don't respond with 5x31 isn't worth it or necessary, it's easier for me to breed like this. I just want to know if hp fire is worth the extra effort.

I like cursepert, adamant ev's in hp and sp def. Curse, EQ, waterfall and rest. But CB Swampert sounds good too.

Personally I don't ever use potions or berries for healing when farming or training, of course that's just me but I don't see how putting a pc in our bases will effect the economy that much. I mean battle frontier is practically handing out choice bands but you are going to complain that people won't buy potions anymore??? If you are using 150 berries a day to grind that seems excessive to me, and a definite outlier.
