You can't change back if you decide to switch spot. If there is a qualifier with a bye, the bye will be given to the team that donated the most in that specific qualifier.

If by August 27 (the half way point of the player registration) a team is at risk of not getting the minimum of 6 players to compete in this World Cup, this team will be replaced by the first team on the reserve list. On August 27, unselected teams will have their donations returned. The player registration thread will be opened following the qualifier tournaments.

Aside from Jellicent Taunt and Nasty Plot Rotom, nothing that you listed comes even close to being effective vs Suicune. Haze Mantine will just get pp stalled, unless you play some new set. Raikou doesn't exists. Seismitoad Water Absorb doesn't exist. Breloom Bullet Seed only works if it doesn't get burned by Scald or if Suicune doesn't run Ice Beam.

It wouldn't have enough pp unless it runs Splash.

Calm Mind is just one aspect of Suicune that makes it broken. Pressure is also central in making Suicune broken. Same with Scald. I'm assuming TC did not just release Suicune without a plan. Celebi, Keldeo, something must be on the way to deal with this threat. If TC is truly considering removing Calm Mind on Suicune already, I don't understand why they allowed Suicune to be OU in the first place.

Serperior also loses vs sub/protect sets since pressure removes all Leaf Storm PP. On top of that, Sub spamming is great vs Leaf Storm potential misses. Ice Beam also screws with Serperior. I think the only answer we have is something like Careful Poison Heal Breloom and that's not great.

Suicune, as of right now, should be banned. Any more testing will just hurt our metagame. We don't have the proper tools to deal with this threat and the tools we do have are very underwhelming for the OU metagame.

I just learned today that Legendaries like Suicune and Shaymin can only be caught once per account. I think from a PVE game design, that's entirely fine. However, for PvP, that's a recipe for disaster. Some legendaries are extremely strong, to not say broken. Suicune is a great example of that and it's non sensical to expect player to only own 1 per account. Competitive players will need more than 1 Suicune and forcing players to buy multiple given the extreme barriers to obtain is absurd. The number of Suicunes on the Market will only diminish with time, but the Demand will keep growing. This is not sustrainable long term. My suggestion is to introduce consumable items called "Multiverse Shards" (or any other name) that will allow Legendaries pokemon that have multiple versions of themselves. Players would still only be able to obtain 1 Suicune, but that Suicune could be played with multiple sets/nature for each Multiverse Shard used on it. I think it's completly fine to have an item like the one I suggested be very expensive, perhaps even more that the Grass Ability Patches that were around 2M at some point. Anyhow, please consider this suggestion because allowing a borderline uber mon to be played only by the wealthy is dangerously close to making PokeMMO a pay to win game and that's something no one wants.

Assuming MeCyma confirms his support for Team South Korea, we will have 22 registered teams for this World Cup: 14 teams will be selected through donations 8 teams will be competing in qualifers 4 teams will compete in the Eastern Time Zone Qualifier (August 20th at 10 AM UTC) 1 team will be selected 3 teams will be put on the reserve list based on their donations and qualifier performance 4 teams will compete in the Western Time Zone Qualifier (August 20th at 6 PM UTC) 1 team will be selected 3 teams will be put on the reserve list based on their donations and qualifier performance Qualifiers description Each of the 8 teams not selected through donations will be invited to compete in 1 Qualifier tournament. If a team invited to compete can't make it to the Eastern Time Zone Qualifier and another team can't make it to the Western Time Zone Qualifier, they can exchange spots. The only players that will be allowed to compete in the qualifiers will be the captain and the 3 mandatory donators. The Qualifer tournament format will be 4 participants single elimination bracket where teams face off against each other in a Bo3: OU Captain Choice of Team 1 (OU/UU/NU/Dubs/LC) Captain Choice of Team 2 (OU/UU/NU/Dubs/LC) Notes The donation deadline is August 19 @ 11:59 AM UTC. Any donation after the deadline will not be counted. Players Registration will start following the last Qualifier Tournament on August 20.
