2. If you ban the critical hits, then you'll ask for banning confusion, parahax, any offensive move with stat effect. I agree RNG can mess a game where you couldn't normally lose, but I don't want to ban any randomness on this game.
3. I didn't notice that the post was silent since February but still. Even if you guys try to make a fool of me, I know that some council's decision about UU tier are messing the tier itself.
4. Totally right, Sceptile is too strong but guess what, council just decided to move Sceptile down to UU. (for a test blablabla) Why do OU/UU councils try to do a UU tier with pretty OP OU ? If you want a UU tier with OU, just make a tier between OU and UU !
5. IGN : Gilvy
The main threats of this list are Blaziken, Kangashkan, Medicham and Zangoose. Breloom can be really annoying with Spore and the SubSeed combo (not to forget Focus Punch also). Armaldo is too slow for me to care of him. I've chosen my team to counter these threats : Arcanine Ability : Intimidate Nature : Impish EV Spread : 102Hp, 252Def, 156Spe @Leftovers - ExtremeSpeed - Flamethrower - Morning Sun - Crunch Arcanine is really good when played physically defensive. The Ev spread isn't quite usual but it allows Arcanine to outspeed Max Speed Breloom (135 for this arcanine against 134 for any jolly 252 Breloom). Extremespeed will help Arcanine to Revenge Kill and also to prevent Zangoose to sweep through Endure-Flail 0- SpA Arcanine Flamethrower vs. 6 HP / 0 SpD Breloom: 146-174 (107.3 - 127.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO -1 252 Atk Breloom Focus Punch vs. 102 HP / 252+ Def Arcanine: 72-85 (40.4 - 47.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery RIP in peace Breloom As for crunch : 0 Atk Arcanine Crunch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Grumpig: 92-110 (49.1 - 58.8%) -- 71.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 0 Atk Arcanine Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Grumpig: 62-74 (33.1 - 39.5%) -- 15.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Helpfull if Arcanine is up to Revenge Kill the pink pig Breloom Ability : Effect Spore Nature : Jolly EV Spread : 6Hp, 252Atk, 252Spe @Leftovers - Spore - Substitute - Focus Punch - Leech Seed There it is ! Classic Breloom. I chose Leech Seed as 4th slot cause Giga Drain ain't really helpfull since Focus Punch will put Whiscash back to kindergarten. We'll need to be careful at Seviper which is the perfect counter to Breloom, due to its type and its ability. 0- SpA Seviper Sludge Bomb vs. 6 HP / 0 SpD Breloom: 138-164 (101.4 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO (Seviper without any Sp.investment and malus nature) 252 Atk Breloom Focus Punch vs. 6 HP / 0 Def Seviper: 96-114 (64.4 - 76.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 252 Atk Breloom Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Seviper: 63-74 (35 - 41.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO Armaldo Ability : Battle Armor Nature : Adamant EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Atk, 6Def @Choice Band - Earthquake - Superpower - Rock Slide - Aerial Ace Yes I said it's too slow to be threathening. And I hope all of my opponents will think that hahaha. Armaldo Choice Bander is like Rambo ready to win his war (but it wasn't my war !!!). No need to calc, Armaldo 2hko every pokemon and ohko more than the half of the meta-list. Grumpig Ability : Thick Fat Nature : Bold EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6Sp.Atk @Leftovers - Calm Mind - Psychic - Hp Fight - Heal Bell Time to welcome the pinky pig ! A destructive set. Flawless. Hp Fight will deal with the pokemon which Psychic can't really damage. Heal Bell will support the team and will help Grumpig if it gets Toxic'd. Bellossom Ability : Chlorophyl Nature : Bold EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6Sp.Def @Leftovers - Stun Spore - Synthesis - Giga Drain - Leech Seed This pokemon is vital for my strategy. Since Armaldo is really slow we'll need Stun-Spore to paralyse the oppononent's pokemon. Playing Bellossom won't be easy in this meta-list but I think this strategy can work. (Ps : Bellossom can Leech Seed via Trainer Tower) Whiscash Ability : Oblivious Nature : Adamant EV Spread : 252Atk, 62Def, 196Spe @Lum Berry - Dragon Dance - Waterfall - Earthquake - Double Edge DD Whiscash is the best set. He covers all the meta-list. Adamant nature + 196Spe makes Whiscash reach 105Spe. With a DD, it goes up to 157 which allow him to outspeed Jolly 252Kangashkan which reach 156 Spe. Double Edge as 4th slot because Bounce isn't really a good way to put Breloom down (Substitute while Whis is bouncin and giga drain after the bounce... bad) +2 252+ Atk Whiscash Double-Edge vs. 6 HP / 0 Def Breloom: 130-153 (95.5 - 112.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO Bellossom will help my team to have free-switch because Grumpig, Blissey and Wigglytuff can Heal Bell/Aroma. Armaldo will then break some a$$. Whiscash can also sweep but it will need at least 2 DD to be dangerous.
After an honourable mention, let's try to win this :D
6. IGN : Gilvy
A list with really aggressives Pokemon. No need to explain why most of these pokemons are threathening. Let's try to counter all these sweepers and sweep them back :D Ninetales Nature : Modest Ability : Flash Fire EV Spread : 6Hp, 252Sp.Atk, 252Spe @Leftovers - Will-O-Wisp - Flamethrower - Calm Mind - Hidden Power Grass Comments : I tried to run a 252Hp,252Def Bold set but it was not really a good idea after all, so here's a common set. I've chosen Modest Nature instead of Timid cause even in Timid, Ninetales is outspeed by Sharpedo and Manectric. It also speedtie with Jolly 252 Hitmonlee so let's forget that and let's play beast mode. 252+ SpA Ninetales Hidden Power Grass vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Sharpedo: 128-152 (87.6 - 104.1%) -- 25% chance to OHKO 252+ SpA Ninetales Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 216+ SpD Swampert: 104-124 (50.2 - 59.9%) -- 78.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery (Curse Swamp) 252+ SpA Ninetales Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 6 SpD Swampert: 140-168 (67.6 - 81.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 252+ SpA Ninetales Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 78-92 (37.6 - 44.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (such tank) Really helpfull when the opponent's HP is low. A great Revenge Killer here. Crobat Nature : Bold Ability : Inner Focus EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6Sp.Atk @Leftovers - Toxik - Giga Drain - Sludge Bomb - Super Fang Comments : A great wall. Underestimated though. It can take damages really easily and can also attack back. +2 0 Atk Swampert Waterfall vs. 232 HP / 252+ Def Crobat: 82-97 (43.3 - 51.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery (Swamp with 2 curse) 0 SpA Crobat Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 216+ SpD Swampert: 76-92 (36.7 - 44.4%) -- 99.8% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery 252 Atk Choice Band Sharpedo Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Crobat: 81-96 (42.1 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Crobat: 105-124 (54.6 - 64.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Sharpedo Nature : Jolly Ability : Rough Skin Ev Spread : 6Hp, 252Atk, 252Spe @Choice Band - Waterfall - Crunch - Double Edge - Earthquake Classic, simple, and efficient. What else ? (Nespresso) Manectric Nature : Timid Ability : Lightninrod @Petaya Berry Ev Spread : 6Hp, 252Sp.Atk, 252Spe - Thunderbolt - Flamethrower - Hidden power Grass - Substitute Classic again, substitute is here to activate the petaya if needed. Rest is purely special sweeping Weezing Nature : Bold Ability : Levitate Ev Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6Sp.Atk @Leftovers - Thunderbolt - Flamethrower - Pain Split - Will-O-Wisp Classic (what a classic team you have though ... Damn man, do you really think you're gonna win with all those 'classic' in your post ? No way ! Since there are a lot of physical sweepers, Weezing is unavoidable. Azumarill Nature : Adamant Ability : Huge Power Ev spread : 6Hp, 252Atk, 252Def @Choice Band - Waterfall - Superpower - Ice Punch - Body Slam Great bander. 252Def instead of 252Hp because like i've already said, there are too much physical attackers. Body Slam instead of Double Edge hoping to paralyse any opponent.
This team definitely goes for the wi... no forget it
7. IGN : Gilvy
Solrock Nature : Naughty Ability : Levitate EV Spread : 6Hp, 252Atk, 252Spe @Choice Band - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Overheat - Explosion An underrated lead. This set has a great coverage in this meta. Not to forget his ability though. Here, I'll show you : 252+ Atk Choice Band Solrock Earthquake vs. 6 HP / 0 Def Metagross: 122-144 (78.2 - 92.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Solrock Explosion vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Camerupt: 502-591 (283.6 - 333.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO 0 SpA Solrock Overheat vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 88-104 (51.1 - 60.4%) -- 90.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 252+ Atk Choice Band Solrock Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Lanturn: 232-274 (100 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO Yeah I could have put Metagross or Ursaring instead but I wanted to be somehow original. Camerupt Nature : Adamant Ability : Magma Armor EV Spread : 252Atk, 30Sp.Atk, 228Spe @Leftovers - Earthquake - Overheat - Rock Slide - Explosion Yeah the same moveset as Solrock, but it's not a problem because this set can be problematic for your opponent. 228Spe to reach 89 speed to outspeed Lanturn 6Spe (88speed). Adamant nature still allows Camerupt to OHKO Steel Pokemon and other : 30- SpA Camerupt Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Metagross: 168-198 (108.3 - 127.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO 30- SpA Camerupt Overheat vs. 252 HP / 6 SpD Skarmory: 204-240 (118.6 - 139.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO 30- SpA Camerupt Overheat vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Sceptile: 176-210 (120.5 - 143.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO Nothing more to say, it's beast Blastoise Nature : Bold Ability : Torrent EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6SpA @Leftovers - Rapid Spin - Ice Beam - Surf - Rest Blastoise the only Rapid Spinner in this 2-Spikes-User-Meta. Essential. Surf is stabbed and will eat some Fire pokemon. Ice Beam deals with the flying type pokemon and especially Altaria : 6 SpA Blastoise Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 216+ SpD Altaria: 92-112 (50.5 - 61.5%) -- 87.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 6 SpA Blastoise Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Altaria: 88-108 (48.3 - 59.3%) -- 60.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 6 SpA Blastoise Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Altaria: 124-148 (82.6 - 98.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Misdreavus Nature : Bold Ability : Levitate EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6Spe @Leftovers - Calm Mind - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball - Destiny Bond Another underrated Pokemon (with this moveset). Easy to set up and has a great coverage. Yes it fears pursuit, but there's Destiny Bond if needed. The main cause why I've chosen him is his Ghost type, allowing him to make the foe's Rapid Spin uneffective. Skarmory Nature : Impish Ability : Sturdy (usefull as hell) EV Spread : 252Hp, 252Def, 6SpD @Leftovers - Spikes - Drill Peck - Toxik - Roar Spikes User. Classic set, nothing more to say. Sceptile Nature : Jolly Ability : Overgrow EV Spread : 6Hp, 252Atk, 252Spe @Salac Berry - Swords Dance - Leaf Blade - Thunderpunch - Quick Attack My Revenge Killer.Classic and efficient. Quick Attack is here to stop Endure Dodrio/Primeape. Nothing more to say.
Edit : bad english corrected as much as possible
8. I Actually, you have been really lucky in catching good ivs pokemon on only 3 days. But, it's not the same for everyone. We spend time and money to breed and when we finally tend to something great, the gender ruins all.
9. There are much more things to do before thinking about releasing this game on phones imo
10. Do GM/CM/Devs actually give a f*ck ?
