I actually liked it more than death note because the ending was better, and I liked most characters except for suzaku, made me really mad at times btw nice review

If you want something like Death Note then try Code Geass, its death note with mechas others that are really good: One Punch Man - Comedy/action, with good characters and a op mc Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic - Action/Adventure/Fantasy/Shounen Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru - Comedy/Romance/School life with a really good main character (even if you dislike the genres, dont knock it until you try) Hataraku Maou-sama - Comedy just check the synopsis and pick the one that interests you most

tfw half of these you mentioned are shounen, anyway try these: One Outs, Overlord, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (its tagged as shounen but you probably will like it), Btooom, Golden Boy (comedy and no fights, but its pretty good)

Im actually liking Ace Attorney, sure it could be better but its not bad (imo)

Haven't seen many but you could try Hyouka, Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai (if you dont mind the fan service), or GTO

Serial Experiments Lain is the best I've seen till now (you probably wont like it but give it a try anyway) some other animes that I enjoyed more than Death note: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Golden Boy (comedy), Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru (aka Oregairu, romcom), Grisaia no Rakuen (you'd have to watch Kajitsu and Meikyuu first, but they aren't as good)
