I think i will just copy past the new pc thing version im too scared to break everything haha but thanks if its really messed up i will try what you said !

I guess its not just about changing the files this times its more complicated so i tried what you told me to do but i get a error message like it cant load my theme 😕

Oh, you'll also need to move some image files, compare the theme's res folder to the default theme's res folder. There are a few new additions in the default you should copy over!

Omg yes please im so new with all this what am i supposed to do ?

The simplest method is to copy the battle.xml, the broker.xml, and the pc.xml files from the themes/default/ui folder. Paste them in your theme's ui folder, but if you have any customizations in these files, be sure to add them back in. Hope this helps!

I've been at this for a minute and I want you to tell me what I'm doing incorrectly so that I can make my own alarms and I don't have to bug you guys every time I want to change the alarm audio.

    So, Step 1

      Hide contents

is to grab me an audio file I like and optionally cut it down to a ringtone like length (For Instance) then I grab one of your shiny alarm zips(Currently using the shinyfailagor.zip but I've tried multiple times with different alarms)

    Step 2

      Hide contents

is to use Audacity to export song/audio file as ogg file and unzip the shiny alarm with Peazip (basically FOSS Winrar because 7-zip doesn't do everything I need it to do)

    Now Step 3

      Hide contents

is where I copy my exported ogg file from audacity(cuz ya need 2) and rename them to 1554.ogg and 1556.ogg, then finally replace the originals with my fakes >;)

    Step 4

      Hide contents

I rezip teh folder and then it doesn't work lol, I've tried importing the mod(fails), changing it from .zip to .mod and importing it(fails), and manually putting it in the mods folder(doesn't show up on the client .zip or .mod)

Obviously I'm doing something wrong, maybe there's a file size limit or I'm missing or messing up a step or three. It's possible there needs to be something done to make it compatible with pokemmo but I have honestly no idea where to start with all that.

Would like some assistance/pointers from those with big brains plz.

Edit: My notifications on pretty much everything don't work so I'll check in about once a day at around 6pm CDT TIME ZONE

It is likely not displaying because the mods title and description could be the same as your copied mods. Be sure to give your mod a unique name and description, and check for any other text info that can be changed. I believe this should help the mod display, and stop any conflicting mods. Hope this helps!

  4. This is a suggestion that could potentially make every Pokémon worth breeding in some capacity, regardless of IVs. The chances of this occurring would need balancing in regards to the marketplace and ease of access.

The idea is making IVs that are matching not only lock-in, but potentially gain +1 IVs.

This would give players the chance to improve their 25-30 IV Pokémon, and cheaply at that. This would provide the market with a whole new influx of 31 IV breeders from people that were lucky when breeding two 30 IV Pokémon together(as they could gain +1).

On the balancing side, this would also cause more breeding, and inherently cost players more for anything specific, even when not gaining +1 IV from the breed. So there is a risk factor as well.

The inspiration behind this idea is to encourage utilizing less than perfect Pokémon more often when breeding, because as of now these breeds are limited to pairing two decent average stats for a nature/species change.

Thanks for reading! I would love any feedback as there may be things I am not considering. 💗

  5. I believe this has been suggested, but I could not find it.

It would be nice if the overworld music did not start over upon every encounter. It is one thing that stops the music from being enjoyable during a hunt, or when traveling through a dense encounter area.

There are some areas I am certain I have never listened to the BGM fully, because of the encounter rates.

A small QoL but I do feel like this would be a large improvement on immersion and experiencing content fully.

    Thanks for reading!

It's a cute concept but I can't see us ever pursuing it. A very major downside to applying gameplay bonuses to cosmetics is that it punishes players for wearing what they actually want to.

Personally I don't see it as a punishment. I see it as just another side to your look, influenced by your hobbies. If anything it'd broaden what people choose to wear, and when.

A visual indicator for what players are doing in the world would also be welcome, as most times you cannot discern why a crowd has formed around an area.

That being said, these things could be acheived in other ways without altering existing cosmetics. A safari charm for example, reducing a Pokémon's chance to flee, and so on.

Thanks for the reply, though I hope it is considered behind the scenes at some point. 💖
