Howdy John, long time indeed. I think it's pretty clear who my post was directed at, and within context, I believe it's more than justified. Productive conversation is always welcome, but most of these posts are nowhere near that. Whether or not we agree on the level of communication from the dev team is beside the point and outside the scope of what I'm interested in debating here.

I'm way more disappointed in the reactions here than the proposed shiny wars changes and how it was handled. The entitlement blows my mind. You are 30 people who made serious real life adjustments based on a fan-made pokemon mmo game's forum post.. that had volunteer staff try to bring yet another fun event to the game for you.. that had no way of knowing what development might decide to add last minute, to benefit ALL players, unexpectedly.. let that sink in. It's just an event.. on a game.. bunch of Karens. You talk about disrespect.. poor communication.. owed apologies.......... look at yourselves. I can only hope that these updates they tried to give us REALLY would have had a meaningful and positive impact on the shiny wars event, and now they won't come until it's over.

I doubt it, no warning. The game appears to be restarted, just waiting on login servers.. nvm back online

So as to not leave anyone hanging, we (ZomB) were informed that the event host has quit the game. I have no choice but to assume that this, and other events, should be considered cancelled for the time being. I cannot speak for the host, only ZomB sponsorship.

You are the one who created the raffle. It's your responsibility to be clear about it, otherwise people will ask questions. How you read and respond to questions is on you. I was someone who was shown the thread and I came to buy out the rest of the tickets, or as many as I was allowed to buy. I read your post and obviously my first thought was about protecting myself before giving someone money, as everyone should do. The rules linked here are designed, or at least appear that way, to govern how someone creates a raffle and what their rules are. Most people that come here because you linked it in trade, are not going to go find and read raffle creation rules. You mentioned nothing about the rules, reading the rules or stated the rules other than Bear holding the shinies. My questions were not accusations. They pointed out WHY I asked for clarification.

There is no reason to be rude. I did read the post. There was no mention of Bear doing anything other than holding the shinies. There is nothing wrong with asking for clarification before making purchases on a random players raffle. You answered questions I didn't even know I had, staying away from this.

Does that mean that Bear also has a preset list of all participants and their identifying numbers? Even if Bear said "I draw #18" he would need to be the one who gave numbers to each ticket purchaser at random, or in order, himself for this to be a safe raffle imo. Pardon the questions, but this information would probably make people feel a lot better.

To be clear... who is drawing the numbers? Who has access to the list of people and their identifying numbers? If drawing and organizing isn't done by staff, no one would know if you just picked a friend to "win" all 3, who then gave you the shinies back while you pocket the raffle money.

Both of you might benefit from changing the default keyboard used while playing PokeMMO, as android's default keyboard doesn't play nice with this game at all.
