I really wish this came to light before I bought the months worth of donation.
I didn't even get it for the shiny rate...
honestly I rather not donate to dishonest people who pretty much apologize for being caught and will do absolutely nothing to make up for it... and on top of that the Amnesia Brace is about to become not worth the money.
It's kinda hard to keep playing this now for reasons other than trolling.
Hell I'm already in the dog house!

in that case wouldn't the trade forums just shut down? and I'm sure people could use it in value discussion. I know it's mostly shiny pokes being priced there but still and I guess one could use it when seeking competitive assistance for their poke.

I'm sure a lot of you remember the Auto IVS Calculator app from back in the day.
If not... it was before we the in game IVS calculator.
It would scan your pokeman and calculate the IVS range like most online ivs calculators.
There was another feature on this app.
It would keep a database of every pokemon you scanned.
This made it very easy to post multiple pokemon on the forums, mostly in trade.
I kind of miss this...
I think we should have the ability to copy and paste evs, ivs, moves, ability, and so one from in game.
You could like put a button the the summary page.
It would be nice to have the database but I don't see that part being necessary.
I would focus on just the copy and paste aspect.
I think this could increase activity on the forums in the trade section.
The only con I can remotely see is a huge boom in ditto shops.
I'm not sure if this has been suggested before.
If so. I apologize for nothing. :)

I paid 1.3 for a perfect 5x31 bold one a couple weeks ago. I just don't need the HP worth an extra million. Good luck to you though, you have always been a great breeder since I've known you and bought from you in the past. (free bump).
Yeah to be honest I didn't set the price the people have. I actually just sold it at 3m and shortly after I got offered 3.2m. I guess no one else makes them.
Which is semi fine with me. I just wish I could breed in peace but Thank you.

I've been breeding since... well since breeding was added to the game. I mostly breed field (eevee)
With the old system the goal was to make 2 decent breeders, use those breeders to make better ones, take those two and breed a comp eevee that also doubles as a breeder, then sell all of my old stock.
Now when this would happen I would usually end up giving a lot of it away due to people not being able to sell 3x31s for over 100k.
It got to the point to where I just started deleting them and only selling the great ones which made me look like a insanely lucky "god eevee breeder" Since everyone was able to clone their pokemon. I had to advertise. That way people would come to me vs me spamming trade for hours (which I did anyways) It made it easy to monopolize things. I could name any price I wanted to for my stuff for many came to me for pricing anyways.... but then breeding got easier.. (pre hoenn)
There was no longer a handful of great eevee breeders..
Noobs would find a 10m+ shiny, get scammed out of it at 4m, and realize they've been scammed so they would buy eevee breeders in hopes to make that money back and due to their desperation and still being a pleb they would sell any and all eevees.
Sometimes they would sell a damn good female pokemon for dirty cheap and by doing so they would create another great breeder. Once I noticed this I went on a huge campaign telling people to stop selling their great female pokemon or they will only lower the price of said pokemon. I knew the breeding update will kill the economy and there was no way it would last. I was laughed at by so many for thinking so. I was even called greedy but I ain't even mad, I made my money. Once things hit dookie town many came to me asking if they could get their 600k back because the eevee is only worth 200k now, of course I never gave a refund and was called a scammer for doing so. Hidden power breeding was pseudo science at best.
A huge amount of pokemon had no use what so ever.
Despite all of this I feel the old breeding system was a lot more fun and the way it was setup allowed non comp players to have something to do.
As for the new system I do enjoy how hidden power breeding is setup. It's the most annoying thing on the pokemmo planet tho.
Mostly only comp players breed now. Breeding for the fun of it is a myth, I feel.
Many of those who would breed as they chatted no longer do so.. Most of them quit or tried to break into the shiny market and got owned. They like to login from time to time and talk about "back in their pokemmo day"
I've made so many good eevees in this system is kinda stupid.. I'm around 16 6x31 eevees with only 2 having a bad nature.
Most of those were made from me using my old eevees with stuff I bought in trade chat.
All of my eevees are gone now.
I still do continue to breed 5x31 1x30satk bold vaps. I
ts the only pokemon I feel it's worth breeding atm.
The amount of request I get on vap is fucking insane.
This is how I know my fellow chatters stopped breeding.
Us older players do have small advantage over the new players but that's most mmo life... Games don't wipe their servers these days, if anything they just open a new one (hint hint)
I feel like this new system is designed to eat up everyone's money, temporarily.
I just don't feel it's here to stay and if it is here to stay then changes will be made to bring back some of those ch1 breeders.
(ivs confirmed from lvl 1 to 100, cheaper braces, wild pokes overall have better IVS, ect)
but regardless to how cheap things may/will get.
I still rather use the OLD old breeding system.
This current breeding system I like to call "the +1 system" .. many mmorpgs have their own twist on it. In order to make your sword +2 you need it to be +1 and you need 2 other +1 swords.. In order to make it +3 you need 2 more +2s
I understand why this concept has been added to pokemmo (economy, duh)
but what I don't like is the set prices of our +1 items aka braces.
I can't pull prices out of my ass anymore.
People now know how much it cost to make something and feel my time isn't worth shit they will offer around the amount it cost me to make said pokemon and get pissed when i turn them down.
tl;dr?
The old system was fun. It supported monopolization and it's rapid deflation was ludicrous.
The new breeding system is boring as hell and promotes becoming poor as a comp player who only breeds for personal use.
I am not some poor person complaining about not being rich.
