It makes perfect sense, you can alternatively read it as "everyone essentially should have started from scratch" or "everyone should have essentially started from scratch" if that's what you're getting confused over.

I do have to agree with some of the points raised, from what I can see, the main attraction to the newbies is just experiencing the Pokemon game that everyone knows and loves with friends, just slightly modified, there is no real incentive to play past the storyline but I suppose that's the same with any Pokemon game not just PokeMMO. Also, I do agree that the game is catered more to the elder members of the community, which I mean in a sense of "I've been playing longer then you" not age, apparent abuse and grinding of the old system has boosted the old members of the community sky high leaving the fresh players stuck in a loop hole unless you have countless hours to grind doing mundane repetitive tasks, I do think if the developers were to alter the game to such a degree everyone should have started from scratch essentially, it would make it fair right? As for RWTing, didn't even know it was a thing, never seen anyone mention it :huh:
