Good morning Matoka, I would like to say that there could be a Pokemon Black list that would prevent any pokemon from taking advantage of this feature. I'll put spoilers in this thread and credit you for the idea.

Evolution Reversion When I saw a player discussing Chansey, it sparked an idea in my head. I would like to purpose a plan that gives players the chance to reverse their evolutions, but not be too easy. I was thinking that the player should pay 250k + Everstone in order to do this reversion. Due to an economic concern that Lazaaro has pointed out, shinies will not be allowed to devolve. I would also like to thank Rigamorty, Kouteshi, Raederz, and TheChampionMike for mentioning the stone evolutions. So far, stone evolutions, trade evolutions, and shinies will not be allowed to go through this process. I am also going to credit TheChampionMike for advising me for a price drop from 400k to 250k. Lastly, thanks to concerns brought up by TheChampionMike, I would like this feature to have a black list of pokemon who are unable to go through this process like Eevee and Magicarp as examples. I had some NPCs I would like to show that can do the job for Kanto and Hoenn (I'll call them candidates). I would like to ask, have you ever had silverware, but no cake on the table? The silverware is the title of the suggestion and the food is the details as to why your idea should be implemented. There are some some suggestions that either say "^Title^" or "Basically this, please implement devs!" A good title does not mean a good idea. In real life, I read a book called The Craft Of Research and it describes how to provide reasons and evidence coherently. A good title certainly helps, but it shouldn't be the only pieces of text that expresses a thought. Here are some examples of what I mean: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first two examples are suggestions with visuals that help emphasis the points being made. I am not going to discuss the ideas being suggested, but I would like to elaborate on the structure. If you notice with AFDC98's suggestion, he puts pictures first to plant a mental picture of the idea at play. After you have the mental picture planted, he goes into detail why he thinks it is a good idea to implement that control format. KaynineXL has a different way of expressing his ideas. What he does is discuss why the idea is necessary and then takes a picture of where the Ranked Battle blinker is going to be located. You don't have to make illustrations with your ideas though. My next two examples are ideas without the need of illustrations. OldKeith and Xatu discuss why their idea would be good for the community and then they cite pros and cons. The text plants a mental picture instead of relying on a picture to do it for them. I can picture myself going to the PC computer and asking for a PokeLoan or going on the Rental Trade Link and seeing whats for rent. I am not going to call out anyone who is not providing an reason for the suggestion, but I would like to see suggestions with a good title and a well structured format.

Good evening, I hope everyone is doing well. Let me elaborate on my reasoning, 1. (To a certain someone): please stop maligning me. 2. The answer to your question is that people won't rely on the player base nor will they strive to catch pokemon to breed another copy. Yes, its expensive, but I see a potential backlash from all the breeders. If you want another comp, you should breed another comp via catching wild breeders and breeding them. You are relying on a NPC to do your job or another person's job.

I beg to differ because I think that the general player base is greatly under valuing the power of the Master Ball. I wouldn't think they are useless because people had to use it for emergency reasons as you mentioned, but its nice to have some "emergency balls" when needed. Its great that you have two master balls ready for that special occasion. 2. I mentioned a special vanity item reward in my OT Dex suggestion. I am going to start off with your Feebas concern with my personal experience from the Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow series (I'm old). When I completed the dex, the gen 1 games let me have the diploma even though Mew was not in my dex. In my view, PokeMMO should do the same with Feebas. I hope everything goes well for you and I look forward to seeing you play an official. I mentioned that prize for completing the OT Dex Prize. I addressed my response in the wrong thread, but I am going to readdress it in this thread. The cape on PokeMMO is quite a tiny place to design something like a ball. Yes and no, that would be too op and that would drop the price of the Knight helmet and many other vanity items significantly. In my view, that could hurt the economy, but since you owned all the pokemon at one point, you should obtain a Master Ball. People are under valuing the power of the Master Ball. I did suggest a special vanity item for completing the OT Dex.

Hello Matoka, I am going to address your concerns: 1. I should of looked for better terminology for my first point. Wild pokemon battles are a challenge to some people because of things like Wobbufett, Graveler (have a Damp pokemon in your party), Houndour or Houndoom (have a Soundproof pokemon in your party), etc. Wild pokemon can be quite a choir the catch at times. In the Safari Zone, it does feel like a "real battle" to jam that pokemon in the Safari Ball. 2. How about for the noncompetitive audience? I can't tell you how many times people want to buy Secret Base items and they can't. Yes, I do think that there should be a vanity item for people who completed the dex, but there also needs to be some monetary reward as well. Perhaps 5,000 BP + 900 RP + 50,000 PY (PokeYen) + Special Vanity Item. In fact, thanks to you, I am going to slightly tweak my suggestion. 3. No problem, I'll include this in my suggestion as an "overall award." I am going to rename my suggestion also (credit will go to you and many others).

Hello Gruul, let me address your points one by one: 1. You still profit in the end with 8k Battle Points under your logic. 2. Most people are not competitively minded. In fact, a typical PokeMMO player usually just tries his/her best to complete the game and then just hangs out at Vermillion. I think this would give them a reason to experience a true Pokemon adventure. 3. As I mentioned in point 2, most people are not competitively minded. In the Battle Frontier, they can buy basic secret base items. 4. Yes, but your giving people 2 more balls that would catch without failure and I think that your greatly undervaluing the power of the Master Ball itself. 5. I appreciate your kind sentiments as to why I made this suggestion. (This point is completely anecdotal and needs no further explanation) Good early morning Lazaro, the reason why I was so cheap was because I do not want to risk breaking the economy (I heard of people who gain Battle Points for a living and people who earn Reward Points via officials). Technically, your battling wild pokemon, but that's beside the point. Battle Points are unique to people who want something usable and possibly profitable. 2. That's your preference, but most people would snatch up a Battle Point reward. What happens if someone in the battle tower has 6000 Battle Points and they want to use the Special Move Tutor? Perhaps, he is almost done with the OT Dex, so why not give him the opportunity to earn 5000 Battle Points free. 3. A vanity can work, but at the same time though, it would be pretty difficult to put a poke ball on a small cape. Darkshade is a bright person, he'll figure that out if he is given the task.
