y'know that wouldnt be a bad idea actually. A NPC letter from the daycare people when your pokemon cant go up anymore levels.

This would be really useful since a lot of us forget about a pokemon left in Daycare, and dont remember its orginal level. Id say keep the text the same, just add a clarification at the end, like "...by level your pokemon has gone up by 20! It is now level 60!" or something similar.

I never once said anything bad about the 3rd place entry. I said that I am mad because Lyouie and Moetal's entries WERE judged by their skill and talent. THAT is why they got first place, because both of their images are absolutely amazing. Im insulted because I was not seen as good enough to be up there with Moetal and Lyouie by a panel of judges who ranked them highest because of the quality of their art. Instead, it feels to me like the judges felt there were no more obviously good entries besides those two, and last place went to a fan-favorite vote. And I was left as an afterthought.

If you had bothered to read the thread, you'd see I wasnt the only one upset by placing that Breloom above my entry.

And you dont see how insulting that is?

Im not mad about which place Im in. Im not mad about prizes. Im mad because I wasnt put up there with Moetal and Lyouie when I feel like my entry was on their level. You obviously picked Lyouie and Moetal's pieces because of the QUALITY of THEIR art. Giving away 3rd place to that Breloom is basically telling me I that dont deserve to be up there with Moetal and Lyouie, that Im not good enough to place with them. THAT is what is insulting. You could have literally picked ANY other entry besides that Breloom and I would still be equally mad and insulted. Im a 26 year old professionally-trained artist and this has insulted me, my art, and my education. Also, "Honorable Mention" was created FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE of making someone who doesnt normally get a chance to win, to feel special. And so you dont screw over the people who actually deserved to win.

My problem is that entry DOES NOT SHOW anywhere near the level of effort put into it as mine, Moetal's or Lyouie's entry. I admit I lost to Lyouie and Moetal, long before you guys did any judging, because they are legitmately better than me, but being told that that Breloom is better than my Machoke is flat out insulting. I dont care about the prizes. I care about my artwork being being put down in front of thousands of people around the world.

I would bet one of my shiny Machokes that Breloom took NO MORE than 24 hours to complete. My Machoke took 2 weeks to draw, ink and color. Also, I said Moetal's coloring skills are better than my own. I never said my own coloring detracted from my piece.

I feel cheated, again. And insulted. I did digital coloring because my digital coloring skills are much better than my hand-coloring skills, and I WAS going for an American comic book style, which is fully digital. While the Breloom may be a nice entry on its own, I feel it completely lacks the amount of time and effort that the other top 2 entries plus mine obviously show. This is the Create Your Own Gym Leader contest all over again, I get cheated by an overly simple entry that had no right in the top 3 to begin with.

I have all of those pokemon and they always just switch out o-o Never get a chance to kill it.

Almost everyone in my team has a starmie and it kills my entire comp team every time o-o The coverage + speed a Starmie has is very similar to Gengar.

also IMO if starmie was easily breed-able, and became super popular, it would be banned to the Ubers pretty quickly.

IMO the easiest way would be to get a NATURED 2-3x31 (easily enough found) staryu / starmie and breed it up using dittos, always keeping the nature on the staryu. Its gunna be extremely expensive, but its the only certain way to guarentee a natured staryu. It will cost you a few mil.

Most of my listings are done on the same day, but it never refreshes to 7 for me. Every time I am offline for a collective 7 days my listings expire.

it really doesnt, that will only keep your listings up for about 2 weeks before they expire. There is no sure-fire way to keep every listing from expiring except logging on every single day. Once youve been offline for 7 days collectively, even if over a period of months, every one of your listings will expire. I like to keep 100-200+ listings going, but I have a full time job and cant manage to log in daily. And since the second time more than 100+ listings expired on me, I havent been able to keep more than 20-30 in stock.

I do log in every week. But every day you are offline for, 1 day is knocked off your ticker. So, logging in once a week does not keep them from expiring. For example, Ive only been offline for the last 3 consecutive days. I logged on to pokemmo 3-4x this week before that. All my listings still expired. And, if you log in just once a week, youll have 6 days knocked off the ticker. Youll have to log in every day thereafter in order to prevent every listing expiring.

So currently when a listing in the GTL expires, you must claim it back into your party before you can relist it. When youve not played for about a week and evertyhing in your GTL expires, this is a pain in the neck to relist everything. My suggestion is a "quick repost" button for expired GTL listings, where clicking the button takes you back to the "Create Listing" page, auto-filled with that particular pokemon and its price. From here, we can adjust the price if we so wish, pay the listing fee, and have the pokemon listed back up on the GTL without ever entering your party. I made up a quick image to show what I mean:

Ive heard they are working on Nidoran breeding but as far as Ive heard its not changed yet, they just threw up a ? in the breeding preview box so you know theres a chance to get either male or female with no ability to choose.

Is this new?
