Welcome to the Official PokeMMO Team Tournament of May 2025 These are monthly competitive tournaments where teams can test their skill against each other. Players battle as teams (3 at a time). Teams can switch out which members compete between rounds. [Oa]Original will try to defend their title from April 2025. They have earned a registration slot. I've got questions in PMs about the process, how to apply, and some general info, so I will make a post for all interested players to see. Application It's pretty easy- tell us a bit about yourself and why you would want to apply. You don't have to worry too much about grammar. While using programs to check your grammar is fine, writing your application in AI isn't- we will see immediately. Don't include your IRL name, address, or picture—while your application can be seen only by SGMs, those don't help your chances, and there's no need to doxx yourself. Please write it in English. Our primary communication happens in English. You don't have to be a master of it, but you have to show us you can talk in it and understand our communication. You are not only joining a project to help players, but you are also joining a team of friends who spend a lot of time together. Requirements You have to have access to a PC. Being a staff member on mobile doesn't work for many reasons. For example, our staff members must attend events as hosts and refs, which is impossible on a mobile. Also, because of this, if you play for an hour every 2- 3 days, it's not the time to join the staff. Tips If you don't know how to improve your chances of joining the team, be helpful on the public chat! This is one of the main tasks of Community Managers. If you plan to join the staff team, start by helping the players—it shows you know what you're getting into and allows us to get to know you! _____________________________________________________ We are going through the applications, and new ones come in daily- we will answer all of them. We salute everyone who tries to join out of passion for the game or to help. This is our "thank you" to interested players.

I would want to address this first: As staff, we have corrected the information about the shiny lock and presented to the public. A lot of players who thought they were shiny locked (and still do, judging by questions on the in-game chat) have assumed they are locked cause they haven't gotten shiny in X encounters. I understand where this comes from, though- we aim for better communication wherever it's possible, hence why, for example, our support articles exist, to explain situations like shiny lock to newer players. We don't ban people "just cause we don't like them". I had to ban one of my best in-game friends at some point, so trust me, we are objective in that matter. Any GM found banning people just because they don't like someone would've faced consequences. I'm happy to report we had no such case as far as I remember. I don't know where the items generated for players we favor come from, but feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Only HGM+ can spawn assets like rewards for the events- so no lower staff would've been able to do it. ______________________________________________________ As per the thread question, you notice the same kind of threads around the times when no big events are going on, or when traffic on the forum becomes smaller. You can only trust me, but no data suggests the game is dying. Lastly, I encourage players to contact me if they have any questions, regarding of the work of the staff team, or if they want to report any issues. HGM's goal is to expand communication with the player base and, as always, correct anything faulty.

Hi, as mentioned on reddit, our appeals are not automatically closed- they were investigated. Upon further check, we found plausible explanations for evidence gathered, and based the unban upon that. Each appeal is always checked, as we value our players time invested.

Staff pov, its excellent. Sometimes we have to whisper tons of people, so it lets us stay in touch with friends while also moderating. Used it when I was trading as well, keeps it organized for moments where you don't exactly need a gameplay window to be huge [Tho suggestions are always good ofc!]
