  1. Imo, adamant seems better if you are using mach punch. But as Orange stated, you gotta first check the tier and ask yourself some stuff. On top of my mind: - Do I want to outspeed non speedy nature breloom? Or Dragonite? Or metagross? These 3 are probs the most important to consider. Other stuff in the speed range can be hurt by mach punch or is inaccessible no matter the nature (There is modest kingdra too but more often than not those will be under rain so I didnt list it there) Edit: For the second question, Im afraid I cant help much with haxorus, even tho I think jolly is preferred. For Hydreigon, I have used pretty much all possible variants and for an offensive one, you need to first know if you want hydra to wallbreak or to sweep. Both modest and timid are viable, but have different jobs.
  2. Can we ban Wobbuffet from NU? It has access to tickle now, which makes it able to trap and future pursuit the target much easier.
  3. You are relying on a lot of factors for clamperl to be able to beat mantyke and tentacool, and disregarding the fact it can only choose 1x hidden power to beat some other stuff. Based on your logic, there is no reliable counter for anything at all. (Tenta is much more of a clamperl counter than grimer or koffing are mienfoo counters. And dont even get me started on porygon or vullaby to counter misd cuz they dont at all)
  4. hm... Did anything change at all for those 2 months (Like, if there was way less LC matches to be counted for, affecting the statistics of those numbers?)
  5. thanks. How could I forget the good old mmo? If misd rises, munchlax gotta drop. Well, if it doesnt drop significantly this month, then probs ban it.
  6. well yeh makes sense misd would get more usage after those 2 bans. I mean like the latter 2/3 months. What has been misd evolution?
  7. seems solid enough. Glaring weaknesses I can see (yet they can be played around) are darmanitan/arcanine and taunt hydreigon. Luckily, first two are not that common in our metagame. You might have some issues against hp ice mienshao but still able to play around it.
  8. well I might be wrong, and I would need tools to compare usage from the different past months, but I believe (at least in my experience) misdreavus has been declining in usage after people found munchlax. Still, again, people´s adaptation in this game is so damn slow that we could find out its effects somewhere near 2051. Either way, clamperl is fine. (tbh I have no idea why some ppl pushing towards a clamperl ban instead of misd or mienfo but ok). For misd Id probs want to take a look at the end of this month usage and see its evolution. For diglett, I was always against trapping abilities in some specific mons and Im not really sure if diglett is that different from dugtrio for both to have different judgments.
  9. Add tentacool and eviolite munchlax to the list of mons that survive anything +2 camperl throws at them (No, hp ele clamperl sucks) There is also some good priority mons in the tier and absence of eviolite (for deepseatooth) makes clamperl pretty squishy after a shell smash and therefore even easier to be revenged with those priority moves. Now, speaking of the usage. I believe the problem is not usage itself being high, but rather playerpool of LC tier being too small. Does this matter? Yes, unlike OU where 200 different people play, with different playstyles and therefore different teams, in LC the playerbase is much much smaller. With a much smaller playerbase, one will therefore expect the same few playstyles and as a consequence, the exact same teamsamples or cores used by those few players. If you still cant see where I am getting into, or I am explaining it poorly, let´s exacerbate this to the maximum: - Imagine a tier played by 2 people. Usage of each mon would be close to 100% cause there arent more mons being played cuz there arent more ppl playing. -Imagine a tier played by infinite people. Usage is now much much more scattered cuz different people will use different stuff. LC right now is statistically too close to the first scenario. One cannot simply deem a mon unhealthy by usage under these circunstances.
  10. This is a legit interesting and non rainy team. On top of my head, Gyarados and dnite feel somewhat redundant defensivewise (and they share rocks weakness which might be an issue) Also, u might have some issues against taunt hydreigon + sd excadrill in sand. Cant rly think of anything else in particular. Good luck with that team.
  11. Very well now that PSL is officially over, I would like to: 1) Congratulate every other team for making this event a really hyped one till the end (especially the end) 2) Thank every kecleon for all their effort 3) Thank everyone outside kecleons who helped and supported us. 4) Thank coolio (althought by not so much cause bad host (Who was a good host tbh?)), but who despite everything, sacced himself as an host. 5) Thank LYLE for obvious reasons 6) Blame myself for being bad 7) Thank bilburt for his moneys I think that´s it. NVM edit: 8) Thank Munya for being an amazing cheerleader 9) Brag about my amazing PSL names

  13. between my : "recycle pp stall" and "smh" rendi said something along the lines of: only recycler is lax
  14. is rendi blocked? Cause i see no messages of him.
  15. So, as a player who would enjoy fewer seated tournaments (Mostly because I cant really care about staying for so long for a single tour) I came up with some idea: Since shiny rewards are mostly seen are trophies, I think there should be some distinction between a shiny earned in a 64 player tour or another earn in a 128 player tour. Therefore, was there any con if rewards were something like that : 32 spots - Non shiny comp 64 spots - 2x31 3x25 shiny comp 128 spots - 2x31 3x28+ shiny comp Iv values are completely random and could be adjusted if needed. Pros: Clear distinction between different degrees of effort to receive the shiny. Ability to create different seated tournaments with the same shiny prize (Since different ivs means different trophies) Less discussion about rare shinies and what not. The boost to the ivs, I believe, would reduce the complaints for higher seated tournaments Also, not sure if this counts as same suggestion or not: Since playerbase has grown bigger and people complain about fewer seated tournaments shouldnt exist, but some players also dont or cant spend 3 or 4 hours straight for a single tournament, I would also ike to see 32 and/or 64 man-tours with separated brackets (Like 64 join one tour and other 64 join the other), so both kind of players are satisfied. Thanks to everyone who read it. Discuss.
  16. Meanwhile at internet: Person A: Hello Person B: Stop crying you kid!
  17. So, before we reaching tiebreaks (Apologizing coolio for the extra work here): 1- GG to every other team. There will be more tiebreakers so the hype isnt dead yet 2- Although I too was somewhat mad at @urquidi decision in the final match, let´s not forget that was a high tensed match, and while there was plenty of reasons to blame whatever play, let me just defend him by saying pressure affects gameplay. 3- Nothing else really to be said. I just hope tiebreaks get the hype they deserve. Thank you all.
  18. Ok this shit was close. Im sweating.
