  1. I haven't noticed anything else. As for the name change, a mod has already said in the thread you linked that it is a bug and that it will be fixed soon.
  2. I'm pretty sure there are tons and tons of players over 100m just in pure cash, and several of them that are in the thousand-of-millions range. If you're playing non stop for years you farm a lot of money and there aren't just that many ways to spend it.
  3. It's held not only by wild Magnemites; also Magnetons, Beldums, Metangs, Bronzors, Bronzongs and Skarmorys can hold the item. As for the chance, it should be around 5%. The easiest way to obtain one is just paying 5k in the GTL.
  4. I'd recommend 1 fast sweeper with Life Orb, 1 Bulky pokemon that covers its weaknesses and a scarf mon with complementary coverage to the 1st (also regarding physical/special). I couldn't say 'with success' but I've played this team to 40/50 wins a few times, got like mew, the 3 birds and Regice in the dex. - Timid Starmie w/ Life Orb. Surf, Psychic, Tbolt, Ice beam - Relaxed Ferrothorn w/ Leftovers. Gyro Ball, Power Whip, TWave, (free slot) - Jolly Medicham w/ Choice Scarf. HJK, Drain Punch, TPunch, Zen Headbutt (anything with Close Combat is likely better, accuracy matters a lot in the long run - maybe Infernape?) Also a core of Garchomp, Gyarados and Choice Scarf Volcarona/Chandelure might work.
  5. I'd just say Biba Hat looks great
  6. You are now blocked by satan12.
  7. To give you an appropiate answer, I'd say the game is grindy, it can be dull at some points, but it is quite addicting. As for the questions you asked: 1. Yes. Find a team and that's gonna be the most immersive experience you can probably have. They'll kick you out when you are inactive for a few weeks, but when you come back you can just join another one. 2. It has regular small updates, but major updates are few and far between. For example, when I joined this game in 2016, it was only Kanto and Hoenn. In late 2017 Unova was added and it wasn't until late 2019 or early 2020 that Sinnoh was added. Johto still in a limbo because reasons and because only PvP important and blah blah. We're still waiting for other type of major updates like adding HAs, which was supposed to add a whole new dungeons system that we've been waiting for almost 3 years already and still counting. 3. Yes. It depends a lot on what you like doing in a pokemon game. Just bear in mind you'll need to grind quite a bit for in-game currency if you wanna go F2P, at least until you have your first 6 or 10 level 100 comps/semi comps, as those will be the tools to earn you in-game currency more easily. 4. Well, there are events. Regarding how incentivising they are... I don't know. There are basically only 2 type of events - catching events and tournaments. For me, the first are boring after you do a few because it's very unlikely to get a price unless you get very very lucky, and it's easy to end up burned out of them. The tournaments are ok, until you realise no matter how well you do you won't ever beat the top X guys, and they start being frustrating. But it's up to what's your type of thing really. There are some seasonal events too -like Halloween or Christmas-, but devs are really inconsistent setting them (for instance, we had Halloween event all years between 2016 and 2020 except for 2017, or we had Christmas event in 2017 and 2018 but not last year...). I hope it helps.
  8. 100k? Most breeders sell 5x31 natured at 1.1m, that's nearly 300k profit

    Quick Wishlist

    1. PP counter in PvP matches. 2. Allow players to create BP vouchers, similar to current RP vouchers. 3. Broader pool price in catching events (1st to 5th/8th instead of just top3).
  10. Type /unstuck in chat and wait for 2 minutes. You can't save the game because it saves automatically.
  11. I'd just say remove trade chat at all. Ever since the max fee on GTL was reduced to 25k, it has almost no practical use for someone that wants to do a fair trade. Today it's just for people looking to scam others. It's funny how often people offer things more expensive than they actually are on GTL.
  12. I mean, time is money, right? ^^ I'd probably should have said 'more sensible way'.
  13. They breed and breed and breed in order to hatch a rare shiny. Having dittos means they don't have to bother about the gender of each egg. Also many of them are looking for a shiny starter, which have a 7 in 8 chance of being male, and rare genderless pokemon. Breeding with dittos is the cheapest and easiest way to find shinies in these two cases.
  14. I use to play in PvP with perfect comps and I can say one can tell the difference when one's facing a team that is also maxed on IVs and when one's not. They take hits significantly better and also hit harder. I'd suggest to go 2x31 and 3x30 natured. A perfect comp can have 3x31 and 2x30 and be still maxed out, as 30 and 31 don't make a difference at level 50 if they don't have EV investment in those stats. That been said, if you are breeding an offensive mon like Gengar, usually 2x31 (Speed and Sp. Atk.) and 27-29 in the defensive stats can also be fine. However, with defensive mons, as said above by @ThinkNicer, maxed IVs become more important - I can't count the number of times my Reuniclus has survived at 1 HP, just to mention 1 example-.
  15. Pokedex is useless if you don't own the pokemon yet... I expected this answer from a Global chat troll but... well... -_- Usually what I do when I don't own a pokemon and want to know the location, I look for listings in the GTL and look at their data, where it says "met at level xx in xx". In the case of Spiritomb is a bit tricky because it was appearing randomly in swarms during the Halloween event, but this method usually works well.
  16. Hi there! I'm looking for a rather specific pokemon. I couldn't find exactly that spread in the listed prices, it would be a natured 3x31 + 1x30 MALE pokemon. What would be the price for that? Thanks in advance!

    Region Chat

This is a great idea. Not only because of that, but also because channel chats are usually quite dead.
  18. The thing is, how many bags did you open to find 2 Pharoah Suits? And how lucky were you? How average is opening 2 good cosmetics in X bags? Because they were selling around 250k for the most part of the event. That means that if you opened more than 15 or 20 bags you had a net loss.
  19. I'd say most of the overworld abilities are implemented, but there is at least one notable miss. These are a few I can tell you about: · Magma Armor/Flame Body (Nerfed): Not as much, but they still speed up hatching times by 25%. · Synchronize (Nerfed): If I recall correctly, here in PokeMMO it only triggers 15% of the time. · Compound Eyes (Does Not Work): I believe devs thought this was too good for farming item. · Intimidate/Swarm/Arena Trap/etc. (Nerfed): They are nerfed (various percentages, see link in comment below). · Pickup (Nerfed): it works in a somewhat similar way. It picks up like 5% of the time, but the items you pick up vary from the original games. Also, it only triggers for the 1st mon in your party, so a full party of 6 pickup pokemons would do same as just 1, unlike in official games. You can tell if an ability is 'on' when you see the icon in the upper left side of the screen (desktop). I might have missed some abilities, hopefully someone else can help us have the full picture. I don't think you understood their question. -------------------------- Edit: I edited based on Sethsen's comment below.
  20. I opened 3 bags and in total amassed the incredible amount of 6x Super Potions and 2x Super Carbos. You were playing it the noob's way. You don't wanna open bags. You either sell them for quick cash and buy cosmetics directly from the GTL, or you hoard them and hope to sell them very expensive in 2 or 3 years. Next time just buy as many cool cosmetics exclusive to the event as you can and try to farm money with Goodie Bags and/or Special Candies. It'll feel much better than just wasting 50k to open some shitty rewards.
  21. I think there are already more than enough gyms to rebattle that one more isn't necessary, and also not very good flavour-wise as pointed out above. And regarding team previews, I think knowing the opposing team beforehand makes for more informed plays, and also makes gameplay more skill based.
  22. While I agree information was given a few hours before the event ended, it would have been super easy for the mods to include these indications in the announcement to avoid being so confusing.
  23. Fast and helpful, thank you. It's not very intuitive though ^^ Regards!
