I have done nothing but hunt since azumarill, and have 50k encounters without another shiny. However it does still feel like they're being found all over. Chesars is at like 7 this month, he found another golbat and a f'ing heracross lol. I might just be a little unlucky, but 50k with donator status is slightly frustrating

Hey man, congrats on the shiny! That azumarill was around 500 hours. Donator status active, you can see that in the pic. And not in a horde. No idea what encounter number I was on. By the way, Chesars has found 4 more shinies lol, he has spoink, golbat, spinark, golbat and numel now. All caught in the last month. All hordes and all with donator. He has been tracking all the data too so if you want specifics, PM him ingame. Check out our team's page if you want screens (team [Mr]). Two other teamates have caught OTs recently too. (Were all just hunting lol)

Nice thread. I just want to point out that Flare, Chesar, Ruak and myself are all on the same team. In my opinion, it was kind of like a chain reaction starting with Ruak. That started a bunch of people (myself, chesar, and flareblitzz included) on a shiny hunt. The following week we were all hunting every day. A little info for your thread: I was right around 400 hours. Personally, I don't think that matters since only about 20 of them were spent looking specifically for shinies. I did have donator, so did Chesar. Flareblitzz and ladylm did not have donator. Obviously, flare was in a horde, I was in a horde, and so was Chesar. Ladylm was not in a horde. Chesar was at about 3k encounters, and I had just decided to start counting, I was at 277. All 4 of us were specifically hunting for shinies. Anyway, I don't know if they changed it or if people were suddenly more interested in hunting, since it seemed as they were being found all over. But my guess is the ladder. Even if they did increase the shiny rate at the time (doubtful), with the update it probably would have been corrected. Personally, I have been hunting every day since then at about 4-5k encounters a day and haven't found anything else.

Hey man just wanted to say that this looks great and keep going!! I think its awesome and is coming along very nicely, but it still needs a lot of work. Go to Mossdeep by the space station, that whole area is messed up. My character dissapears most of the tiles around there. Also, pretty sure someone already mentioned this but Slateport has a whole bunch of tiles that look like you can walk on, but can't. I <3 the way it looks so far though :D

Nice, these are always fun :D. The NPAA (specifically DracoTheHero) hosted an event like this one night a few weeks ago to find a timid(?) caterpie. There were only about 15 of us hunting for one, all in the same patch of grass, but it took way longer than it should have. The best part was that Draco was handing out 30 pokeballs to everyone each time they ran out. With 20 rounds I can see how that could get very expensive for the players or host, since you'd be just catching every one of the species you encountered and praying that it was the right nature. Since this is an official event, I'm sure the rounds will be super quick, however it would be nice if we didn't have to waste our own pokeballs/yen. Other than that, I just hope I'm online to participate :)

Just curious, why rattata? Are you Youngster Joey? If so, your rattata would really be in the top percentage :D

I told her to keep it because she is the OT. I also told her how much it was worth and to avoid scammers. (but sell it to flare if you do sell :D) Feels like OTs are everywhere lately. But hey, I'm not complaining.. coz.. Caught yesterday, (April 24th 2016)
