  1. Sounds a bit like my last suggestion but more spiced up. I like it.
  2. Yes, elo system would be nice. Casual players won't get crushed all the time anymore and try-hard players can try to climb. Not sure if we have enough players to make it work though.
  3. I like this idea, sounds really fun. Probably requires some play testing to get the balance right. This reminds me of the alignment system in the mmo dofus where you could choose to participate in pvp by activating the 'pvp mode' and then be challenged without being able to refuse.
  4. Pokemmo has a lot of experienced players, but there are also some newer players who haven't played as much Pokemon. I think the gyms are good as they are especially because they are not optional. Maybe we could increase the difficulty of the rematches against gym leaders. For more experienced players there are options like: - Battle Frontier in Hoenn (some of the modes) - PvP - hopefully Dungeons when they come out in the future I do agree that additional options for experienced players would be good. For example we could add special optional trainers who have full lv 100 teams or other stuff...

It makes more sense to work on the unimplemented features of the other regions (for ex. black city/white forest, subway...) and more endgame content (dungeons etc.) instead of adding an additional kanto. In the future if there is nothing anymore to implement then maybe but in the short term no.
  6. Officially there is a minimum requirement of 10 posts to be able to post in the suggestion box. However the restriction is not automated by the website and admins don't really care I think. In the end the forums are not very active anyways, so working on an automated system to restrict would be a waste of resources I guess.
  7. The game is harder than the originals but not too hard. If you try nuzlocke however then it will be very hard. It is impossible to overlevel in pokemmo and the trainer ai is improved. You have to carefully plan out the harder fights if you want to successfully nuzlocke pokemmo.
  8. I am shinyless in pokemmo, but my first shiny in the handheld games was psyduck.
  9. Here is a relatively simple idea that could significantly improve the experience for end game players (but also newer players). Route Rotation: Every day a random location is chosen where exp and money gained is increased. This would create more incentives to farm at locations other than the standard npc rematch areas. The benefits are: - more variety - cool locations that would otherwise only be visited once in the story - alternative to the standard rematches that have been done hundreds of times You could do one route (or location in general) per region every day. Same could be done with gyms. Maybe even increase ev gained, item drop rates or shiny rates slightly.
  10. By how much does the ability intimidate reduce the encounter rate? It is 50% for the original games, but is it the same for pokemmo?

  16. You can do something similar in Diamond/Pearl too I think. You can decide the order you want to defeat Maylene and Wake.

  18. Yes, would be very useful for keeping track of what items/pokemon sell the best for me.
  19. That is basically how making money with the stock market works. Buy something under market value and sell it for market value. It makes the market more efficient which is a good thing.
