I think it would be very interesting to have a well updated price index for NPC vendor items that matches with changes made to the yen production ratio. The thing with GTL items is that they constantly regulate themselves due to supply and demand; the amount of time you had to take to grind for an Everstone before the patch to buy one on the GTL is near the same after the patch. We are even seeing some certain vanities either calm down with their inflation, or even just drop in price. I think what can be a frustrating thing for players is if their yen production ratio was dropped by 20%, but all of the NPC vendor store items stayed the same price.

Are you referring to the 3 gym leaders in the first gym in Unova? Yeah, they give that much specific for those ones. Anything else that is just a "single" gym leader gives about what I said per battle.

Gyms give better payout ratios the higher level you are. They can pay well into the 9000's as you get closer to level 100.

I honestly use just a lv 100 Naughty Meowth with 57 attack IV's and a 3 attack IV, lmao. I think the main thing for me is that you have to get a Meowth on that sweetspot to where it can KO weak mons in 1 hit with Payday, but not kill others with thief. This specific Meowth I have works wonders for the Berry Forest.

I personally prefer to just have a level 100 Meowth and stick to spots to where Payday will kill a lot of weak Pokemon, but a thief won't kill certain others. The reason I say Meowth is because you still get to have Pick-Up, which means you may end up making more money in the long run due to picking up more valuable items. I personally prefer Berry forest for this because Meowth's Pay Day usually kills all the weak pokemon, Thief does not 1 shot Snorlax's, and there's decently valuable items to pick up.

I'm pretty sure that spamming earthquake handles at least 50% of most gyms. You have to deal with the annoying Moxie prompt, but if you can kill 1 or 2 Pokemon on the first turn with Krookodile Earthquake, it just snowpiles into beating the whole gym no matter what. It's pretty much what are just the best STAB double hit moves you can get off right away. I see it done with Eruption, Water Spout, Surf, Discharge, Sludge Wave, etc. If the move hits your partner, just try to get an immunity/not very effective partner set up with it.

This might of caused confusion in my statement initially. You are right that you can use a male fairy with the nature instead of yet another Pikachu. Pikachu is an option for the male, regardless.

Volt tackle isn't a traditional egg move, and it cannot be passed through generations of breeding. It will only appear on a Pichu if one of the parents is holding light ball, not if one of the parents has the move. This is why it is so costly to get a 5/6x31. Your advice is solid though for any other egg move, though.

As someone who should be qualified on this topic, you have to essentially make 2 perfect Pikachu's in terms of IV's, and one with the already good nature you want. You absolutely can only pass down volt tackle with the light ball. So if you want an Adamant 6x31 Volt Tackle Pikachu, you need 1 6x31 Adamant Pikachu, and a 6x31 Pikachu with a light ball.

I'd say that's honestly only like an above-average day there.

The PTS server client is distributed when the PTS server is live, and otherwise cannot be played on when the PTS is offline. Check out if there is an update every now and then if the PTS is up.

I think the problem is that this still incentivizes anyone who has a level 100 sweeper to just do the gyms that way. I have a Cradily and Blissey that could easily solo some entire gym leaders, it's just that their playstyles are inherently defensive and slow as they chip away at their opponents.

Exactly this. I don't believe that the benefit to completing your entire gym run within an hour should be a higher rate of pay. The reward itself is that you completed itself in 1 hour efficiently.

Why are you literally only using your starter? I use a team of 6 that are usually 2-3 levels below the gym Pokemon.

I'm sure I'm totally not one of the only ones who are a little annoyed with the current state of the amulet coin, but it mainly comes with the fact that it is on a flat timer for an hour right now. My main complaint is that it unnecessarily stresses people out to focus on the game for an hour straight, which means no watching Youtube at the same time, no messaging friends; just basically no multitasking whatsoever that would slow you down. This typically also makes it to where the amulet coin is only accessible now to whomever can make more than 90K in one hour with it, which also screws over people who don't run sweepers when doing the gym rematches, or anyone who isn't coming in with level 100's to begin with. My suggestion is to put the amulet coin on a fixed amount of battles that it will apply the 50% cash boost to, so players can finally go through these gyms stress free. This also allows gyms with longer puzzles to be considered to be beat again as well. I'd personally make it to where the coin would be applicable to 25 battles within a 3 hour period. This is pretty much every single gym battle, even without Moriomoto. By changing it to this method, the player only makes net 30K more yen than they would before the amulet coin change.

My plan is to get the entire Sinnoh dex up and working by the time that Sinnoh is released. I simply cannot do all of Unova though due to the fact that the sprites do not exist.

My favorite memory is getting my Coil and Roost spamming Dunsparce to solo the entire Hoenn Elite 4, then having my girlfriend do it all over again with a Furret.
