Having a box like the party window that showed this information would save time. It would also be useful if pokemon were added to the route by the devs that weren't in the original games. There's no reason to not use an idea if it's good, regardless if it's original or not. That said, I fully support this. I can't think of any argument against it that isn't flawed.
