Could some please tell me how to mod npc sprites.

I noticed there are a couple of npcs sprites that show up when you get dumppable mod resources from the game. These same sprites unfortunatly seem not to affect anything even if you change them.

 

If anyone knows how to change the npc sprites please share. Thanks.

Someone was talking about using /sprites/overworldsprites/ then 0, 1, 2, 3 

But couldnt make it work, if you mod the ROM thou it could be done

@BrokenJokerwhat you looking to do with overworld sprites? from wich region you wanted to make mod, I can try (in a few days) checking with the ROM to see if that path /sprites/overworld actually works

I wanted to do a redesign of money making npcs to make them easier to spot for new players so the mod would have been for all the regions. Im not going to be doing that anymore cause i am busy these days.

you cant edit OW sprites anymore, it used to be tho

not by modding but yes editing the ROM but

trainer sprites are all group together soo... soo if you edit a type of trainer, all would look alike...
