Getting back into the game, couple questions before I commit

How easy is it to acquire good IV pokemon? I'm assuming you can breed to get better IVs.

 

Are there ability patches/bottle caps?

 

Does competitive have a ranking system?

1x31 pokemon are not too hard to come by with a little bit of catching, and yes you can breed together pokemon while holding specific power bracers to carry on specific IVs to pass down to the baby.

 

There are ability patches that you can get to unlock a starter pokemon's hidden ability (Besides the Torchic evo line). You can get them by completing a region's pokedex, or buying them from the GTL market. 

 

Competitive has a ranking system sorted by: OverUsed, UnderUsed, NeverUsed & Randoms.
