BATTLE OF THE DRYADS (CATCH & BATTLE)

Hello everyone, to boost the odds of finding a shiny (lol just joking)
To celebrate many good things that has and will happen, I'll be hosting an event.

Location: 

Viridian Forest, Kanto Ch4

 

You may catch any pokemon available in grass. 

 

PvP Battle will be held outside Pewter Museum of Science

 

 

Duration: 20 minutes for catching and 10 minutes to submit entry. PVP will start shortly after the submission. 

 

Pokemon accepted: 

Any grass encounters in Viridan Forest. (lures can be used) 

 

Rules:

 

1. Only Viridian Forest grass encounter pokemons caught within the catching time are permitted. 
2. Lures/repels can be used when catching pokemon.
3. Pokemon has to be participant's OT.
4. No other pokemon can be in your party at the start of the PVP battles.
5. No same species pokemon will be permitted. The 3 pokemon must be of different species. Different evolution of same species will be accepted.
6. You may catch as many pokemon as you can within the given time limit, only 3 can be choosen for the PVP battle.
7. Battle format: Triple battle, the level scale - 10, Party - Current Party
8. You must link your entry (3 pokemons) to a participating staff member via whisper to submit your entry.
9. The pokemons must be unchanged. that is, NO EV, NO LEVELING, NO USE OF TM OR HMs. MOVES CAN BE FORGOTTEN BUT NO NEW MOVE CAN BE LEARNED. 
10. POKEMONS CAN'T HOLD ANY ITEMS DURING PVP BATTLE.
11. Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification from the event. 
12. If participants want, they can request their opponent to link their pokemons before each battle. 
13. The winner of the tournament will be awarded the 1st prize, runners up gets the 2nd prize, the 2 losing semi finalists, each gets the 3rd prize.
14. A bonus prize will be given to the LOWEST IV poekmon which is participating in PVP battle. The PVP battle finalists are not eligible for this prize. 
15. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined through the earliest catch time.
16. Must be part of the team or Optic Discord to participate.

 

 

    ATTENTION    

    I'm not sure whether to ban double team and sand attack, or keep them as it is, just for the fun of it . Let me know what you guys think, final decision will be based on what the majority wants. express your thoughts in the poll.
