jasean
Part 1: How to Find Sound IDs Spoiler While players can use the command "/bgm" in-game to obtain specific Track IDs, there is currently no way to use commands in-game to easily obtain Sound IDs. To see the list of Music IDs, use this Tutorial created by @Eggplant: You can download the testing_sounds mod here to find any sounds that aren’t on the list below already. https://www.mediafire.com/file/n9dvni04rc9w4zi/testing_sounds.zip/file Part 2: The List (WIP) Unova: sounds/2/ Spoiler 1304: Pokemon is Caught Jingle 1368: Pokemon Faints 1369: EXP Gain ? 1370: Thud (Walking into Walls) 1371: Open PC 1372: 1373: Close PC 1375: Ride Bike 1379: Pokemon Takes Damage (Super-Effective) 1380: Pokemon Takes Damage (Neutral) 1381: Pokemon Takes Damage (Resisted) 1382: Pokéball Thrown 1383: Pokémon Escapes from Pokeball 1384: Pokéball Shakes 1385: Initial Pokéball Noise 1386: Flee from Battle 1388: Pokemon Faints 1389: Exp Gain 1390: Exp bar fully filled 1395: Ability Activation 1396: Pokemon is Caught 1397: Low HP 1398: Landing Sound 1 1399: Landing Sound 2 1400: Landing Sound 3 1550: Pokemon is Paralyzed! 1546: Pokemon is Fast Asleep! 1554: Shiny Particles (normal shiny and secret shiny) 1556: Shiny Particles (normal shiny only) 1557: Stat Raised (swords dance) 1558: Stat Lowered (intimidate) 1559: Recover HP (leftovers/black sludge/other) 1583: Increase/Decrease Volume 1615: Key Word/Phrase Ping 1616: Whisper Ping 1631: New Mail 1646: Interact with Swarm Pokemon 1658: Walking in Grass 1660: Walking on Snow 1662: Walking on a Puddle 1663: Walking on Sand 1669: Open House Door 1670: Close House Door 1671: Open/Close Pokécenter/Pokémart Door 1766: Level up jingle 2029: Landing Sound 4 2060: Shiny Particles (secret shiny) Johto: sounds/4/ Spoiler 1540: Door open 1541: Door close 1543: Open/Close Pokécenter/Pokémart Door Pokemon Moves SFX (multiple sound IDs): I've only ever seen these be in unova's folder: sound/2/ Spoiler False Swipe: 1423, 1475, 1376 Assist: 1542, 1445, 1376 Spore: 1718, 1463, 1376 Pay Day: 1430, 1432, 1433, 1431 Thief: 1447, 1420, 1478 Substitute: 1437, 1452 Thunder Wave: 1522, 1458 Taunt: 1438, 1711, 1463, 1464, 1712, 1376 Peck: 1438 Tackle: 1424, plays twice Gust: 1497, 1717 Psybeam: 1455, 1450, 1376 Pursuit: 1472, 1478, 1420 Scald: Earthquake: 1418, 1416, 1475, 1376 Rock Slide: 1417, 1416, 1475, 1376 Surf: 1511, 1897, 1511, 1376 Hyper Voice: 1865 Water Spout: 1452, 1407, 1376, 1511 Eruption: 1475, 1425, 1537 Discharge: 1445, 1458, 1376, 1505, Random Sounds: sound/2/ Spoiler Unova Ice Gym Spinners: 1743, 1744, 1747 adding more later Part 3: Change Sound IDs: Spoiler I usually use .wav files for any sound effects I change and I use .ogg files for any music I change. Rename your file to the ID you want it to the sound ID you want it to replace. Make sure your file is in the correct folder, sounds/2/ or sounds/4/. You can also replace Pokemon's Cries by adding a sound file with the Pokemon's Pokedex number as the name in the /cries/ folder. The /cries/ folder goes in the root of the zip file, not in the sounds folder. Highlight all of the folders, icons, xml files Right Click one of them Click "send to" zip file Your zip file should look like this when you're done: (with your sounds added in sounds/2/ or sounds/4/). Good luck! Reply with any IDs you want to share! Edits: Thank you to those replying with sound ids!! @FelixBoltwood helped find a lot of sound ids 🐐🐐 🙌 TY !! Your /sounds/ folder should be in the root of your .zip file. It's in the same directory as the /cries/ folder, icon.png, and info.xml files are. Then you can put your custom sounds (.wav, .mp4, .ogg) in the /sounds/2/ folder. I think there are also other PokeMMO related sounds in /sounds/10/ TheWhiteYaksha 1 Link to comment

BrokenJoker
wow this is super creative i wonder how you figured this out. Anyway thanks for sharing. Do you have any ideas how to remove sounds for moves that repeat a single sound id like scald, spore and the healing sound? if you replace the specific id for those game seems to role whether it plays to play the id or not for each time the sound is supposed to be repeated. jasean 1 Link to comment

Do you mean removing only some sounds but not others? For me at least, I was able to completely remove the sounds of moves even if they repeated in quick succession (like Spore and Scald repeat 1718.wav) just by replacing it with the muted sound file. Players can remove Spore and Scald by replacing 1718.wav, 1463.wav, 1376.wav and 1857.wav, 1718.wav respectively. However, I don't think they can remove Spore without removing parts of Scald. Is the healing sound repeated? It might be a different sound but from testing I think it's just 1559.wav right? Also if the PokeMMO window is minimized the sound may get cut off or prevented from playing I think. But let me know I answered the wrong question or if the game is doing something different for you! FelixBoltwood
Has anyone found any more sound ids by now? I'm trying to find the level up and evolved ones but couldn't find them on here. EDIT: Btw just to let people know, the sound ID for the exp gain is wrong; it's actually 1389. Also, I found some new ones! Exp bar fully filled: 1390 Level up jingle: 1766 Moves: Peck: 1438 Tackle: 1424, plays twice Gust: 1497, 1717 Edited December 4, 2023 by FelixBoltwood jasean 1 Link to comment

I changed + added those and just updated the mod to find sound ids. With the addition of Johto some new sounds were added which is nice. It's kinda still annoying to look for them but it's there if anyone wants it Link to comment
