WoomyNation Posted August 19, 2023 Share Posted August 19, 2023 (edited) The Challenge When I started my shiny hunting journey here in PokeMMO, I wanted to make use of the specialty of this game, having access to every region. After some planning I created a table that I would need to fill out for each region before moving on to the next with a full team of shiny Pokémon in mind to shiny hunt. Of course since Unova is my favorite region with many shinies I love, it was easy to start the challenge with what I had already picked. What kickstarted my shiny hunting was a shiny Cofagrigous I randomly encountered early on through my game, having to use the only master ball of the region on it to prevent it from killing itself with curse. As the challenge was pretty daunting and I realized I could very easily get bored of doing 6 horde targets for every region, I gave myself a freebie space for each region to account for any phases I would inevitably get and an optional rare for the 6th shiny that would grant free access to another region (so as to provide actual reason to shiny hunt it instead of purely hording). If for some reason I never completed the rares before finishing every region, I would go all in on them to finish the challenge.
