Johto safari: in-game day based encounters

Sooo, I was looking in the forum for some info on the Johto safari zone, and the only thing I found is a comment of a moderator of the forum, if I remember correctly, about some encounters in each area that change every in-game day, while others are always present. For example you can find Riolu in the meadow on Friday and Saturday during day, for what I've experienced.

 

I'm filling an excel file for each area with the encounters on each in-game day (divided in morning, day and night) to try understanding what pokemon are available and more importantly WHEN they are available, but I have a question: the encounter that changes every in-game day is fixed or is it random?

For example in the meadow area, every Friday you can find Riolu, while in the other days you will find another pokemon and these encounter, although changing every day, they remain the same. Because if these in-game day encounters are random, well, all this work is useless and it would be better of only the available pokemon for each area that changes.

 

Does anyone have informations on this?

For example, in the plains area, the constant encounters are:

- Abra

- Girafarig

- Raticate

- Rattata

- Smeargle

- Stantler

While for what concerns the in-game day encounter that changes I've found:

- Monday: Lotad

- Tuesday: Zangoose

- Wednesday: Shinx

- Thursday: still missing

- Friday: Zigzagoon

- Saturday: Lotad

- Sunday: Zigzagoon

 

But I know for sure that among these in-game day changeble encounter there must be also houndoom and manectric since I've found them before, while I wasn't keeping track of the encounters.

The fact that I've found both Lotad and Zigzagoon in two different days left me a bit puzzled about all the mechanics behind this safari zone since, if the changeble encounters were fixed, I suppose houndoom and manectric should have been in the missing days I wasn't able to check (Thursday and Sunday), but then on Sunday here's a Zigzagoon, something isn't working out in all this.
