THR33
Hi, I suppose this could go in the suggestions part of the forums, but I figured I'd just bring it up here as a topic of discussion. Since pokemmo is closed source I was wondering if there is any chance we could get a version of pokemmo compiled for ARM such that people with handheld ARM Linux devices could play on those devices. The only post I could find talking about this topic was from 2012 so I figured it was at least worth bringing up this topic as there are many handheld ARM consoles for sale now and it would be pretty awesome to play pokemmo on those. I understand we already have ports for IOS and Android and this feature isn't widely desired. I think though if released you would see a lot of people using an ARM port of the game. Thanks for reading. Let me know if I should make this post into an actual suggestion post. Edited December 20, 2023 by THR33 Link to comment
Kyu
The game's already been ported to armhf & arm64 for Linux. For a prepackaged setup, you can visit https://snapcraft.io/pokemmo If you don't want to use snapcraft, you can download OpenJDK 17 for your distro & run the game using the portable client provided on the website.
