LilyRox
I have a suggestion for the forums. I'd like to see a "dislike" button by the "like" button as well. I've seen it on many forums done before and I think it's incredibly biased that there is only a "like" button. Link to comment
Chestbrah
im neutral to this idea, also im assuming that if you disliked a post it would -1 your likes total? Link to comment

LilyRox
Or you could remove the "like" button and make it not biased Link to comment
MarleyRose
Why do you think the like button is biased? It is an easy way to show your support for something, or just show that you genuinely liked what someone posted. Liking posts is also helpful in the Suggestion Box, since you can simply like the opening post, since posts like +1 and -1 are no longer allowed in this section. Heavenol
Or you could remove the "like" button and make it not biased Where is the fun in that? Besides, if we removed the like button, it would be harder for us and devs to tell how big part of the community supports a certain suggestion and such. Link to comment
LilyRox
Do you think having a dislike only button would be biased? I do. It's not showing the related data of people who either don't care to vote or like the topic. Link to comment
Emlee
The "Like" button is not biased at all, it helps aid in discussion by allowing an individual to communicate that they like something without leaving useless posts. If anything I encourage the use of it. I would rather people use the "like" button to show their agreement (as in they agree with the suggestion/post only and have nothing to add to it) as opposed to people clicking a "dislike" button and not providing their reasoning(s). Think of the "like" button in terms of a tool, not a popularity contest. JWingWangWong, Orangeslash, Dannnno and 1 other 4 Link to comment
Orangeslash
I hardly view it as biased. There is a pretty strict limit on daily uses, plus if forum members want to circle-jerk and like each other's posts, does it matter? Like count does not equal anything, and staff does not view players with more "likes" as a priority or privileged. I don't see the point of a dislike button. If you disagree with something, express (in a nice way pls) why you disagree with someone's opinion, or don't comment at all. If you dislike it due to it being rude/abusive/etc, use that handy little report button. ---> Link to comment

It's not showing the unrelated data of people who either don't care to vote or like the topic. Why would anyone only have a dislike button, but no like button? That is just silly. If people dosen't care, they simply don't care. If they do have a problem with it, they will most likely post a comment about it. And if the majority agrees, they can like that instead. Emlee
Anywho, won't be implemented so I will lock this. I hope you gained some insight into some reasonings though from this discussion. CelestiaFan and Orangeslash 2 Link to comment
