Here some progress...my head hurt so i will stop for a while...improvements are welcome:

 

 <- is the first time that i try to do one from scratch...and yes i am aware that the arm dont look good yet, i just cant continue atm...

But yes apparently Gumi and Flygon are a known match, if you google ''gumi flygon'' theres a few nice fan arts of both of them.

Well...is flygon not gumi, i like how gumi look but i dont want flygon to be gumi x.x, is not the point. and i like a lot that deviantart that i used as inspiration, but theres still work to be done in order to make her look like the one in the fan art...

Here a little bit more progress...seriusly i wouldnt mind if you guys give me a hand xD, i kinda just want to make it look more smooth but i am having a hard time at it.

I don't think there was anything really wrong with Rache's Flygon, it just needed some edits.

Although the design is nice, there are a lot of issues with the sprite. The red stockings are too bright and the general porportions of the body don't really match with the revamps that are implimented. 

Plus, I don't think it's wise to hide the body behind the legs, but dear Moetal might be fine with it.

well my real problem with rache's flygon is that, is a boy, i know he used this as base https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/ed/43/cf/ed43cfb0b3dda0f3834fbbf765db7947.jpg which i like, but the way he made it totally look like a boy, and not a moe boy, just a regular one =/, which is not cute, is rather a very good pixelart, but is not cute, and moemon is supposed to be cute, i have yet to see one sprite that is not cute/kawai in the game, plus is not finished and i dont think that theres a way to make him cute since that flygon look like a cheerful boy.

 

As for the sprite i made, i used as base the last pokemons made by CMagister in order to fit with the current rework style, basically the only thin thing that my sprite have are the arms which i dont think is necesary make them more wide, but maybe i am wrong, also i used the mightyena face size to also follow it, is just covered by the scarf.

 

This would be her arm with the current mightyena size:

I worked on some edits to Rache's Flygon for just a short while, and this is the result:

At this point i am more surprised that you ask me why, ignoring the skirt, which still wouldnt count since some countrys have males with skirts, everything else look very boyish, is pretty flat, if you replace the skirt with short pants thats totally male clothes, the haircut is easily unisex. (even tho you change the face, it look too forced, i dont think it work with him, the previous face fit him more but is a boy...)

 

Also the colors are too rough, i know you guys said it need more work, but currently it dont fit Moemon style, even the older flygon sprites have smooth colors.

 

I repeat, i like that pixelart, but should be used for something else...

 

Anyway i get the direct answers, ill stop making moemon, it was fun while it lasted.

Im sure theres other sprites that some people aren't fond of, its no reason to quit. My favorite pokemon was already done when i came into this project, it happens. There are plenty of other pokemon lacking a sprite.

I don't quite understand how being flat-chested makes her a boy...? Plus, we can have masculine girls. Why not have a pilot (the feeling I get from the Rache's Flygon)?
