from my personal experience, don't make any goal or anything that make you feel obliged to get it at all cost.
have a mindset of a shunter that doesn't use or care about number of encounters, it's good to find a shiny, but it's alright not seeing any.

I just realised that not a small number of people think egg hatching take 10 mins (without Flame body)
So I conducted a test myself:

"Egg hatch times are now consistent across all species"
That means I can do tests on any pokemon.
The tests were done while I was doing nothing and just stand still, no GTL, no spectating, no anything, just like any Vermillion's afker.
Test:
1. Without Flame Body:
It's 5 mins and 24 seconds.
It's 5 mins 45 seconds.
It's 5 mins 58 seconds.
2.With Flame Body:
It's 4 mins and 47 seconds
It's 4 mins and 12 seconds
It's 4 mins and 38 seconds.
=> Conclusion:-Eggs don't have the exact same hatching time (maybe due to lag in between)
-Flame Body is 10%, not 50% (to all the bros out there who think it's 50%)
Stop questioning my guide about egg hatching times ffs. -

then you should ask other mods, I have hatched more than 2000 eggs of different pokemons. If you want more argument, I'd appreciate it if you go through direct message instead of here.

people don't usually ask for locations, and when they do, asking on global is faster than searching in a guide. So I wont add them to the list. -

Not sure what I understood is correct but looks like you are suggesting to make Destiny Knots into an item that is similar to Everstone, but instead of keeping the nature, the destiny knot keep the child to follow the male?

What about only female species? if the hatchling follow male species?In normal games, destiny knots do not guarantee a 5x31, and it depend on RNG more than the current breeding system to make good IV mons. If you prefer a subpar product using destiny knots, I'm sure it wont cost that much using the current system to make a similar mon.
The reasons why parents are consumed is to balance the market, you can get 400k+ everyday with gym run (not to mention other money making methods), so after 2-3 days or even hours, u get enough money to make a 5x31, no big deal. Also, imagine you have "immortal" breeders for IVs, you can spam 5x31 like garbages. Then everyone have tons of unused money, inflation everywhere. This is an MMO game, mind you.
Might as well make a suggestion to lower shiny chance to 1/8124 like normal along with this flow.

people who buy shinies are those that:
- don't care about OT, just simply want comp shinies- breeding so they make their OT shinies better with breeding.
the whole point of "Unknown OT" is to prevent you from lying that you catch the shiny. If you want to flex, go catch them. If you don't flex, why bother OT, no one but you can see it.
