Don't worry Victory brah, we already got him in the proposed UU list. Once an NU list is established (if ever), that conversation will come up. Until then, Venomoth is clearly not borderline and definitely not OU, because if he was there everything would be NU.

I still don't get why Sata.. er I mean senile and thinknice are ridiculing this thread so much? I actually think this would help them out if they decide to make a UU list down the road because there would be a good template to build the tier list off of. Also on the BL tier I think we need more pokes to use before we can add a BL list because UU walls would be in constant conflict with BL UU and OU rating

also if you really want a similar thing to a "BL" use color text in the UU list on those you believe that can be bumped up to OU

oh yeah JJ have Venomoth on this list he is actually kinda viable in doubles in in singles now. With access to shell bell and skill swap now he can take the role of a nice support or offensive combatant now

notes on set: its a good mixed fighting set and with venomoth's bizzar base stats some skills will come close to killing him so will activate salac and with silver wind RNG and sleep powder he can delay and buff up to wreck and the HP options can cover weaknesses also with giga drain he can get some health back but this is the weakest role for venomoth to have in UU

Natures: Timid, Bold, Calm, Jolly

EV's: 252 SPD, 126 HP and DEF, 6 SP DEF

Item: leftovers, stat boosting berry

Moves: sleep powder

protect/endure/skill swap

Notes on set: get the substitute sleep powder off and switch out nuff said, leftovers for better survialbility and extra helps if you have to wait out a couple turns while struggling to get the substitute off, stat berry helps if you want to book it if you get low enough and have sub but weak if your sleeping foe wakes/switches

 

SupportMoth (doubles buddy)

Natures: Timid, Bold, Calm, Jolly

Notes on set: behold and epic doubles buddy who will send out its crappy ability and give you good ones as it puts statuses on the enemy as well.
