  2. There is only one 130+ base in gen 9 possibly running scarf: Deoxys-S for same reason than Gen 4 Ubers. Possibly win an speedtie vs other deoxys(And this strat is pretty ridiculous in G9 since an Mental herb + Taunt shuts down Scarf Deo if they became a issue and ensure the non-scarf variant do what is supposed to do). Talking about entei to stay on topic: Entei and Arcanine are very close. Entei has beter stats overall, better speed, good fire move(In comparison to flare blitz is almost same dmg, but while flare has the advantage of no missing, Sacred has the advantage of 40% extra chance to burn + No recoil to user.). There is one thing however that arcanine have that entei don't: A good fight-type move. Best option for entei is literally Rock Smash, unless you wanna go with HP Fighting or Sash Reversal which is pretty mediocre for him., while arcanine has CC. That's the only thing that Arcanine is better than entei
  3. This battle might be a bug. Usually the battle is trigged if you rescue Peeko and then faint, but only if you got back to petalburg. You "skipped" the Rustboro match so the game puts one there to compensate.
  4. I'm against the ban rule but by different reasons. The system cannot tell the difference of Intentional AFKing/Intentional Disconnect and Battery Running Out/Connection Lost. While the first case i agree on giving punishments, the second one i don't agree because the people got AFK because of a external factor which he could have not much control(Connection you're on the hands of the Internet Provider, and your cellphone you can't tell exactly how much battery time you has left, if your cellphone runs out while showing 40~60% the case is even worse ). I think they should rework this system to detect things like Battery status and if they detect like a sudden drop to 0% on battery or lost connection, they can abort the battle but give no punishment to the loser.

About the part of trapping and faint, it may be good for trapping key mons, but for people that don't want to suffer in the long-term vs Electrics spamming Volt Switch, primarly Zapdos and Rotom-Wash, you may need a more durable ground-type, that can switch multiple times against volt switch and eat them, and Dugtrio can't do because he eats the volt, then what? Both can't be trapped. Gliscor is good too, can be a good way to set hazards up and you can run defog so other mon than pelliper have it. Letting defog only in pelliper's hands is bad because if below 25% , a rocks negates rain for the rest of match.
  7. Based on Tohn's explanation, you want a ground to stop opponent spamming electric attacks. If that's the case, out of those 3 Dugtrio is the worse because it kills only one mon and then dies, and how you're going to stop electric moves from now on? You need a ground that last longer in game, a thing that dugtrio won't do for obvious reasons, and the other 2 are perfect for that. And no, excadrill won't die instant, you can make it last longer if you wish. It doesn't last longer usually because most of the excadrill in other teams are Suicide Leads.
  8. Dugtrio i don't think that can be great. Sure, you trap a mon and kill, then what? He dies in the process and for the rest of the game you enable him for using electric moves and based on your explanation that is the last thing you want. Garchomp is usually best in this case, but Excadrill can be good, running either Mold Breaker, or he can go with an Sand Rush and if your opponents use sand to stop the rain , this backfires and you use their own sand against him. This was an common strategy in Black and White OU, but it was too good that ended up switching the Complex ban of Sand stream + Sand Rush, in a Straight ban for Sand Rush. and i don't think there is reasons to it not being great there given the abundance of Tyranitars out in the meta.
  9. Most of the fights don't, and the ones that does you need less than 4 items, like Elite 4, Cynthia and Morimoto runs, For the ones that can, just put the Red's Itemlock to prevent multiple battle items if it's an issue
  10. What about steelix? Waterfall makes contact and steelix commonly use Rocky Helmet, is risky and can let him on range of Prioritys, and Gunk Shot won't do dmg to it.
  11. Ho-oh harder? This if happen will backfire hardly, because ho-oh harder = less farming = less supply = higher price = even more profit to who keeps farming. Reduce rewards also won't help because it still reduces the offer and the price will compensate on long-term. They should really make Red more worth if they want to people fight him.
  12. Teddiursa is on the back of the party just calling hordes and when needed joining the fight. Almost never you will need to use teddi in battle, though. Don't forget, Zapdos cannot call hordes on it's own.
  13. Lower odds won't matter if you're calling an excessive number of hordes. Just slap a Teddiursa for backup, teach Discharge, Heat Wave and some s*** and there you go, primarly use Zapdos to level up your mons and farm the orbs

The point you quoted on your original post was about people asking if Gallade and Hydrei will stay, and if they're going to stay or not, even if it's not TC who bringed the discussion up, is up to them to finish the discussion off. If it's broken, you don't need to waste devs time and ask them to revert, you need to ask to TC ban it and convince them on doing so. If you do, you force an action over that broken thing and they may put revert it in table. And taking advance to point things out, in that nerfing discussion, TC has to take part, it's stated on the policy. So the statement on "Changing a ban to a X/Y nerf" done in the past: Is not entirely true. TC has put a little hand on it, even if they didn't hit the hammer they contributed in discussion in some way.

Gallade is fine, no one complaint about a 1,4x Sharpness being broken, just complain about a Bad Precent a custom change could do, and a 6,7% roll is not enough to change a mon from utter garbage to a Offensive Uber. Hydrei is busted tho. Again, forcing a UU wall in your team and potentially giving up the slot of a Skarmory to avoid acummulating weakness, for example, is not Healthy at all. And plz Lumiere don't say Empo is good as a hazard setter due to competitive, this is not gen 9 to have webs and even to punish defog there is better ways to do that, like Serperior that thanks for the free evasion with open hearth. Also, what's the point of punish defog users if you can't do s*** vs the most popular defogger of the tier, that can trick a scarf or volt switch in your face?
  19. Waiting for this moment, i want my cinccino free from the Choice Band. Jokes aside, unlike other items there (HDB) this item sounds balanced for our meta and would be welcome there. Qwilfish are that problematic? I mean, i played untiered back when it was allowed and was a decent answer to the UT Fighting types, now part of them are in NU because Blaziken left and qwilfish still checks them, but honestly i can't see it as broken even if the fight types can't do almost nothing to him. But it can have a potential on the tier due to Intimidate and great utility options such as hazards and taunt.
  20. How more inflation, if you spamming hard items makes you spend more money? You has to buy the items anyway. Problem would be spam X itens on Ho-oh's fight and win easily. This has been solved hard capping to 2 X items per mon per battle

  23. Yea. Excadrill's advantage is their amazing ability in form of Mold Breaker, that prevents Levitate mons from escaping the Earthquake, and also bypass Sturdy entirely.
  24. People already complain Alphas are being undervalued, so this is a nice way to burn them out of GTL. Also it won't give the beast, just a temporary boost to find them that can result in no encounter, like a Shiny Charm or Donor won't ensure a Shiny.
  25. Or an alpha trade-in where you can deliver alphas and for each x31 IV you gain a 0.5% boost of Legendary Chance to spawn, stackable with Legend Lure , lasting for 1 hour and increasing for more alphas you deliver. Capped at 20% to people not pick 1000 alphas for an ensured legendary .
