A few pointers: - 8 tiers sound nice, but do note there will be a lot of players not be able to play then. I mean if you have 8 PSL teams that means that there are only 8 UU and 8 NU players for the entire PSL (okay there are subs and rotations, but still). I kinda liked the fact of almost everybody being able to play (except if ur bad like that Lamborghini model) - Regardless of when the update hits it would be nice to have Gen 5 Showdown OU included (or maybe a custom pseudo gen 5 Pokemmo OU without legendaries, but then you can't guarantee it being balanced) - LC sucks - The playoff system was really good. Keep it - Obligatory "gb for host" mention kappa That's not a good idea IMO. First of all you create in inherent advantage for teams with managers who are good at comp. Isn't the purpose of the auction to create an environment of equal value distribution? Then why start off the PSL on an unequal footing.... Also it gives no drawback of signing up as a manager, you will get a ton of manager signups who will just half ass their job because they only signed up cos they guarantee their spot to play and it will be pretty hard for the host to discern which manager signup is the most legit.

Honestly, without @gbwead this PSL would have been one of the lamest PSL's yet. After the midseason the hype for PSL partially died, resulting in ppl playing their match last minute, or not playing at all. Maybe this PSL was too early, I don't know why a lot of people stopped caring I don't agree with gbwead on certain things he said, he was sometimes a total asshat in public but he knows that. That aside though, IMO he was the perfect villain for a competitive event like this. It made me think of an esports article I read about villains in esports and why they're needed to hype and spice things up (https://slingshotesports.com/2017/03/14/apdo-forg1ven-s1mple-idra-naniwa-why-esports-needs-more-villains/) Maybe gb will need to find more balance in the future on that, it was his first season after all. Also, as a manager, gbwead was top tier. At least as good as a manager as Kaynine last season. And that's a compliment for both. Excellent assistance when needed and always in touch to talk. I'm sure guerinf can agree on that. This wasn't always the case for spartans coach in the first weeks (but spart improved over time from what i've heard) Also @DoubleJ, thanks for hosting PSL. You tried to be consistent and you were present, which is nice. You're a good host. I don't think you were biased, but sometimes it's not about actually being biased, but it's about how you profile yourself. Take a chill pill next season. I'll take one too. For next PSL i'd be happy if you were still the host, but I don't know how certain teams (no namedrop) would feel. Maybe something to be reviewed with gunthug and orange. Also I hope that everybody can speak their mind freely about how they feel in PSL, i personally felt from some players a certain "twofaced-ness", for example fully agreeing with me in private about certain things but afraid to speak up because of public image. You know who you are. Sad. Also to all the haters: Try to not wipe your ass with sandpaper but use regular toilet paper. It helps.

The devs have not confirmed how they're going to handle hidden abilities, so at this point I don't think we should delve much into potential speed boost blaziken. Also about Snorlax/Blissey: In BW OU Snorlax isn't used and Blissey only somewhat, but i'm pretty sure in a PokeMMO pseudo gen 5 without Terrakion, Keldeo, Landorus-T or Jirachi, Blissey and definitely Eviolite Chansey will be a staple pick, but not broken tho ofc But in the end it will all come down to what will get banned to ubers. Will Garchomp be banned? Probably. Then what about TTar and Dragonite? We'll see. Those potential bans will all influence how dominant another Pokemon gets. Looking forward to it!
