  1. I recently updated Meowth's nature. I added the second best and third best natures with explanations in case someone rolls naught or lonely and doesn't want to spend more yen to nature meowth. I encourage your meowth, however, to be 3x31 in attack, special attack, and speed.
  2. Pokémon: Parasect Ability: Damp Nature: Adamant IVs: Ideally 5x31. For more practical cost-saving purposes, 2x31 with Attack and Speed and as high as you can in the other IVs. EVs: 12 HP/252 Attack/244 Speed Item: Leftovers Moves: False Swipe, Spore, Thief, Dig Egg Moves: Leech seed, Flail, Wide Guard, pursuit **Optional, but I recommend them for versatility** **If you pass egg moves to the final breed, they are re-learnable. This means you will have expanded the maximum moveset of your final breed** HM Moves: Cut, Flash, Rock Smash Ability explanation IVs explanation EVs explanation Moves explanation Other notes Guides that are related to enhance Parasect usage Other Optimal PvE Pokemon Guides Credits
  3. Could it be a toggleable option for the leader? The reason I ask is because sometimes a team of four willingly carries a single friend or two when they're doing runs optimized for time/yen. Another reason is that there are times in the christmas event where two people run with two alts and two of the alts may be stationery for an extended period of time
  4. Welcome back Jerry! I sent you a DM with some GTL sales I used to do in the past that earned me some nice profit. I think I can give some decent answers to your shunting and endgame content questions! Shunting While I am not a shunter myself, my recent smeargle guide has made me aware of how versatile smeargles are when shunting niche shinies such as hoppip with rage powder and memento, cofagrigus with grudge and curse, etc. I would highly recommend checking the level in which you would encounter pokemon during horde and single shunts, check GTL for those levels, look at the moveset, and prepare accordingly. If it's a Cofagrigus that is being shunted, you could prepare a smeargle with imprison, curse, grudge, and night shade. Night shade is very helpful in this instance because Cofagrigus's lowest HP is above 100. For hoppip, you can opt for pay day over night shade to get a little extra yen and try to catch the shiny at full HP unless there's another plan. Again, i'm not a professional shunter and this is something to keep in mind for those wanting to start out with harder horde/single shunts. Another note is that zorua shunts have gotten easier since Weezing's additional ability, reactive gas, was implemented so zorua's illusion is broken. There are new particles that were released and one of note for endgame content for shiny hunters is the secret shiny particle Endgame content I'm primarily a PvE player so I focus a lot on endgame content and PvE aspects as a whole. I'll start with legendaries. @BrokenBulbcreated and continues to refine this amazing guide: https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/81062-legendary-pokemon-guide/. One thing I would add is that I preferred to use Heracross with the swarm ability to attract more wild pokemon while running around with the repel trick. Nowadays, legendary hunters in the individual regions have a line-up system for the most part where they will share the legendary pokemon so that everyone can enjoy the BP and the dex entry. Completing the pokedex. Sometime last year, alphas were introduced. Alphas are a way to introduce Hidden Abilities and without getting into the think of it as there is a phenomenal guide which I link at the end of this, the primary purpose in writing this section is to talk about hidden abilities on starters. There are these patches that were introduced after alphas were introduced which work on your starter pokemon, except the torchic line atm. You can obtain one patch per region per character after completing that region's owned pokedex entries. if you started in sinnoh with a grass starter, you would receive a grass patch for example. On top of this, certain alpha pokemon were released in areas of regions you could only access by completing more of story, the seen dex in sinnoh, etc. which was a great move to push players to work more on story and general region access. Ultimately, completing the pokedex and the introduction of alphas spurred more players to pursue exploring different areas of regions they otherwise may not have visited. This alpha guide was creaetd by @Biquetahttps://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/150680-simply-explained-alphas-and-alpha-hordes-generalities/ There was a surge in selling 2012 pokemon that began last year I believe so players focused on completing a collection of all pokemon from 2012. There is also a living dex collection. In terms of regions and areas, Anville Town was recently unlocked for players to visit (Unova), and you can find a rare candy and ultra ball there. Johto is expected to come this spring so many players are excited for that and are preparing in different ways. Mythical pokemon. Shaymin was recently released in this Lunar New Year through the tablet function. It remains to be seen how other mythical pokemon will be implemented. Here is a link to the official info about Shaymin created by @Edwardinho https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/154341-shaymin-official-information/ Battle frontier challenges. Players come together to hos community wide challenges. There was recently a long-standing challenge for the MMO community in battle factory and I believe the challenge took a few months, but someone successfully accomplished it Ditto catching. A new guide which I love was created by @Clararecently and involves using a sneasel with assist and parasect. I will link it at the end of this section. Ditto box prices recently rose from I believe 180Kish last year to around 220K-240K. https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/149075-ditto-farming-guides-one of the fastest way/ Ribbons for pokemon have become more popular as of late and the most comprehensive guide about to date was written by @Bestfriends. https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/152369-pokemmo-ribbon-assistance/ Collecting legendary moves. There are 17 at the moment so that's a fun task to accomplish. If you want to take a look, I listed them in the smeargle guide in guide tavern in a way where you could pair adamant/modest nature with the smeargles and have a variety of move types. https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/154451-the-smeargle-guide/ I'm probably missing a few other endgame things you could do, but I think I covered a good bit.
  5. If you're looking at HM buddies, i'd actually recommend a different set. The first set would be smeargles outlined in the guide above because they can learn any four and are extremely versatile as they can work around the ocarinas you do or do not have. The second set I recommend is in a guide linked below:
  6. You can include strength and rock smash on Spinda since Spinda mainly serves to skill swap. Breloom and Smeargle, both adamant nature with the EVs in the guides above, are fantastic on a team together so that's a set of 3 for you. If you really want, you can prepare a Klutz Lopunny with a Careful nature to emphasize its ability to be a special tank for alphas. It's main role is to use switcheroo and you can also teach it thunder wave, protect, and substitute and give it the assault vest item. It's main use is for Alphas that use roost, rest, etc. As I said before, it's impossible to have just 6 pokes that can optimally handle all situations. If we're thinking about horde fainting, Teddiursa is optimal. If you plan on battling the main hordes for EVs such as rapidash, tentacruel, rhydon, marill, pelipper, etc. while pay daying, meowth might be a better option. Having said this, Having said all this, it's ultimately up to how you play PvE. I'd personally recommend having PvE ready and in your PC so you can swap them as needed. Having said this, I can make a list below: Alphas: Spinda, smeargle, breloom, lopunny, quagsire Pickup: Teddiursa, Meowth, Munchlax Pay day: Meowth, Munchlax Specific hordes + Pay day: Meowth Shunting: Various smeargle movesets Breeding: Flame body/magma armor pokemon Ash collection: pokemon with similar abilities to intimidate, white smoke, stench, etc. to repel wild pokemon Safari catching + legendary catching: Pokemon with the ability swarm like heracross Swarm catching: Conversion smeargle + soak smeargle HM buddies: Several ways to do this depending on the ocarinas you have. Gym run pokemon: Almost every team utilizes typhlosion There are more options i'm sure, but i'm writing this all from what I can remember right now
  7. Hello! Glad to see another person who likes to collect legendary moves 🙂 The thing with doom desire is that it was a legendary move that was indeed copyable from metronome in the past but the thing is that it was patched so you no can no longer do that.
  8. Also I hope this part is also informative, it's very difficult to build an "optimal" 6 poke team for PvE post game since what you need varies regularly. especially with any ocarinas you may or may not have. Things also change if you're a shunter so you might need specific smeargle shunting sets outlined in the smeargle guide above, a damp parasect, etc. I'd definitely say there are indispensable pieces to a team such as spinda for alphas, definitely adamant nature breloom and adamant nature smeargle, conversion smeargle if you're a swarm hunter and want to catch pokes that use double edge and take down, and damp parasect if you plan to shunt explosion/selfdestruct pokes
  9. Thanks for linking my guide above! I highly recommend Teddiursa as the best pickup poke for fighting hordes. If you take a look at Meowth's section, it can manage if you want a paydayer, but not as well as Teddiursa can. Munchlax is another option as well and can utilize covet, pay day, and EQ very well with its high base attack. Regardless of the pickup poke you choose, I created a leveling strat to safely level each of those 3. The leveling strats for each of them are included in the guide linked above in the second spoiler section. I recommend following the Breloom guide and Smeargle guide below for part of your PvE 6 poke team. Both will be adamant nature. For the smeargle set, I would use the most common build listed at the beginning. The EV spreads are especially useful since I focused on ensuring there was enough speed to outspeed the fastest alpha on turn 1. Smeargle requires 200 speed EVs and Breloom will require 240 speed EVs. after maximizing attack EVs, the rest can go into HP. The Smeargle guide also has many other builds that are useful for PvE such as the conversion build.
  10. Introduction The purpose of this guide is to delve into the useful aspects of Smeargle. It will include the most common and flexible builds, numerous other builds that are used with explanations, linked guides to references, and overall general support in order to guide you to the best way to utilize your smeargle(s). There are times when I will point out more optimal options such as for the HM buddy builds and pay day builds. Ultimately, this is meant to guide your process of creating smeargles. I personally went through many different smeargle builds so I hope this guide serves as a way for you all to save your Pokeyen and craft the smeargle that suits your needs. Most Common and flexible build Pokémon: Smeargle Ability: Technician Nature: Adamant IVs: Ideally 5x31. For more practical cost-saving purposes, 2x31 with Attack and Speed and as high as you can in the other IVs. EVs: 58 HP, 252 Attack, 200 Speed Item: Leftovers/Silk Scarf/Choice band [depends on the usage] Moves: False Swipe. Spore. Substitute. Soak HM Moves: Can be taught any IVs explanation for the most common build EVs explanation for the most common build Levelling Strategy Notes for the most common build --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other builds Notes for other builds Notes for other builds that are specific to shunting --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Where to find all of the moves listed in the builds Alternative ditto catching method by @Clara Optimal 3 Pokémon for your HM buddies [Not Smeargles] Other Related Guides to enhance Smeargle's Usage Other Optimal PvE Pokemon Guides Credits
  11. does nature herb roll nature or let you select a nature?
  12. There's a bunny tail cosmetic, not sure which envelope it's from though
  13. Added some leveling strat information for Munchlax. At this point, I have created a leveling strat for all the pickup pokes in this guide. I may make minor adjustments based on items and whatnot
  14. It's true. when the light pillars is activate, you battle an alpha. Yeah, 12 alphas in total. The alphas are listed on the main post of this thread if you want to check them out
  15. - You need 12 zodiac tablets to activate the respective light pillars - White Rabbit Plush comes from lucky red envelopes.
  16. here are things i've noticed: - each pillar responds to a specific tablet - you can get more than 1 type of a tablet before collecting all 12 - you seem to need a certain amount of a specific tablet to activate the pillar - when you interact with a supposed tablet, you either get a tablet or you battle a new HA mon like moxie gyarados, sheer force tauros, limber lopunny, etc.
  17. the pokeballs scattered around the region are either special HA pokes like moxie gyarados, limber lopunny, sheer force tauros etc., or tablets. there are claims that the pillars of light are fixed
