[IPS] Ikarus' Lost Property (Kanto Graphics Patch) updated 6.9.2015
The long grass in Berry Forest seems a little too dark in comparison to the surrounding areas. As for Saffron... Perhaps a similar colour scheme to HG/SS? The gold in particular suits the city, especially given its name. The grey provides some nice contrast.

[IPS] Ikarus' Lost Property (Kanto Graphics Patch) updated 6.9.2015
This is really impressive. The tall grass in Berry Forest stands out a bit much though, and Saffron doesn't seem city-y enough with the grass. The rest is gorgeous.

[IPS] Moemon Fire Red Revival Project (Updated 9-17-2019)
I'm not quite dead. Started working on Noctowl's backsprite. It's still very messy and incomplete at this point, but thoughts?

Phase I; PokeMMO with IV physical/special split (Suspect testing Salamence, Dragonite and Tyranitar)
You only need 4, and it doesn't take too long to get them~

Phase I; PokeMMO with IV physical/special split (Suspect testing Salamence, Dragonite and Tyranitar)
The PTS would probably be the best place to test the mechanics since it's 100% accurate (there's no sandstorm boost, certain moves are buffed, etc)~ You can make a team in minutes using commands, although EVs would have to be done through vitamins (doesn't cap at 100 anymore) and Pokemon would have to be manually caught (but quickly and easily modified into comps). Items can be spawned for you. /debuggivemoney <value> /debugsetability /debugsetlevel <party slot id> <value> (Party Slot ID = 0-5) /debugsetnature /debugsetskill /debugsetivs <party slot id> <0-31> <0-31> <0-31> <0-31> <0-31> <0-31> (Party Slot ID = 0-5, Order for IVs in this command is: HP ATK DEF SPEED SPATK SPDEF)

Show the exact amount of hp during battles
This has a severe drawback. If you know exactly how much damage you're doing, you can guess the opponent's EV spread with relative accuracy. If it's given by default, the EV spread is obvious, which is bad. If it's given by damage ("FEEBAS used TACKLE! MAGIKARP took 88395 damage!"), it's still not going to work. Let's say that you just used Psywave (damage = 0.5-1.5x user's level) on my Aggron for some reason. Depending on which one of these that I'm using, you're going to be able to instantly figure out its approximate EV spread. If it does 50 damage and takes off more than 1/3 of my HP, it's clear that the Aggron isn't bulky. If it does considerably less, It's a bulky Aggron. Different and unusual EV spreads are instantly given away by this. If the opponent either knows Pokemon like the back of his hand or takes the time to calc things, he has your approximate EV spread and there is nothing you can do about it. This would be an unfair system. If you're using something super gimmicky like a defensive Pikachu, it will only have a single chance to work against each person since the opponent will know that it's weird when they hit it. Even if they OHKO it, the damage will indicate that something is off about it. They can then store this information somewhere and be ready for you and your weird Pokemon next time. Damage calculations make this system automatically disadvantageous, and damage calculations are also the solution to new players not knowing how much they're doing and receiving. It's better to give the player an optional means to learn the meta (making their own calcs) rather than give scouting a whole new meaning.

[Denied]A better way to breed :)
Who ever said that the Pokemon put into breeding had to die~? There are other alternative theories for what happens to them, and I wouldn't mind subjecting my Pidgeys to this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35YtLJ3Q2b8
-
[Denied]A better way to breed :)
This wouldn't solve the issue of cloning, thus isn't a viable solution. I could catch a single female Skarmory and 30 male Pidgeys. I then end up with 30 clones of my original Skarmory, which completely undermines the point of the new system.

New breeding system. Megathread Discussion.
This isn't actually true~ Turning 32 Pokemon into 1 is the literal opposite of cloning. If the player wants to refine their Pokemon to the point of perfection, it's not a problem since they're losing the resource Pokemon that they put into it. If anything, it's a good thing.

The Physical/Special Split
If the split happens, physical Pursuit should be looked at for a possible ban. It's... Pretty insane. A somewhat niche move at the moment, but I can see it being very powerful if certain Pokemon gain the ability to use it well. Calcs assume that the opponent has a neutral nature and no investment. Calcs. [spoiler] Jolly nature, 252 attack, Choice Band Aerodactyl outspeeds pretty much everything and can outright destroy Pokemon like Gengar and Starmie without a second thought. It can also pick off almost anything if it's weakened enough. Switching out: Choice Band Aerodactyl Pursuit vs. Gengar: 176-208 (130.3 - 154%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: Choice Band Aerodactyl Pursuit vs. Gengar: 90-106 (66.6 - 78.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery If Gengar is healthy and predicts the Pursuit, it can still go down in one hit anyway. Choice Band Aerodactyl Rock Slide vs. Gengar: 124-147 (91.8 - 108.8%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO The same thing happens to Starmie if it has some prior damage. Switching out: Choice Band Aerodactyl Pursuit vs. Starmie: 136-160 (100 - 117.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: Choice Band Aerodactyl Pursuit vs. Starmie: 69-82 (50.7 - 60.2%) -- 89.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery If it has >60% HP, it can still take a ton from other moves. Choice Band Aerodactyl Double-Edge vs. Starmie: 101-119 (74.2 - 87.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery As fast and strong as it is, Aerodactyl isn't even the worst offender since it can't switch into much, can be OHKOd right back, and can't take on a healthy Starmie and expect to win. Aero outspeeds everything, so it isn't going to be burned if it comes in on a revenge kill. Adamant nature, 252 attack, Choice Band Snorlax forces a lot of Pokemon out that can do absolutely nothing to it, particularly special attackers. It doesn't even need to be fast to use Pursuit stupidly well. Staying in: Choice Band Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 102-120 (75.5 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: Choice Band Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 202-238 (149.6 - 176.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: Choice Band burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 52-62 (38.5 - 45.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: Choice Band burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 102-120 (75.5 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Staying in: Choice Band Snorlax Pursuit vs. Starmie: 78-92 (57.3 - 67.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: Choice Band Snorlax Pursuit vs. Starmie: 154-182 (113.2 - 133.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO Adamant nature, 68 attack, Curse Staying in: Snorlax Pursuit vs. Starmie: 45-54 (33 - 39.7%) -- 24.5% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: Snorlax Pursuit vs. Starmie: 88-104 (64.7 - 76.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Staying in: +1 Snorlax Pursuit vs. Starmie: 68-80 (50 - 58.8%) -- 75.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: +1 Snorlax Pursuit vs. Starmie: 132-156 (97 - 114.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO Staying in: Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 59-70 (43.7 - 51.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 115-136 (85.1 - 100.7%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO Staying in: burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 30-36 (22.2 - 26.6%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 59-70 (43.7 - 51.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Staying in: +1 Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 88-104 (65.1 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: +1 Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 173-204 (128.1 - 151.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: +1 burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 45-54 (33.3 - 40%) -- 31.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: +1 burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 88-104 (65.1 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Staying in: +2 burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 59-70 (43.7 - 51.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Switching out: +2 burned Snorlax Pursuit vs. Gengar: 115-136 (85.1 - 100.7%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO Jolly nature, 200 attack, Dragon Dance Gets STAB, outspeeds Starmie at +1, already a monster. Need I say more? Staying in: Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 103-122 (76.2 - 90.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery Switching out: Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 204-240 (151.1 - 177.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: burned Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 57-68 (41.9 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery Switching out: burned Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 112-132 (82.3 - 97%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery Staying in: +1 Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 153-180 (113.3 - 133.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO Switching out: +1 Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 302-356 (223.7 - 263.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: +1 burned Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 85-100 (62.5 - 73.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery Switching out: +1 burned Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 168-198 (123.5 - 145.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Starmie: 79-94 (58 - 69.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery Switching out: Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Starmie: 156-184 (114.7 - 135.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: +1 Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Starmie: 117-138 (86 - 101.4%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO Switching out: +1 Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Starmie: 231-272 (169.8 - 200%) -- guaranteed OHKO Starmie can't OHKO with Surf. It loses the instant that Tyranitar Dragon Dances. Adamant, 252 attack, Choice Band Staying in: Choice Band Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 173-204 (127.2 - 150%) -- guaranteed OHKO Switching out: Choice Band Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 345-406 (253.6 - 298.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: Choice Band burned Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 88-104 (65.1 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery Switching out: Choice Band burned Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Gengar: 173-204 (128.1 - 151.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO Staying in: Choice Band Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Starmie: 132-156 (97 - 114.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO Switching out: Choice Band Tyranitar Pursuit vs. Starmie: 263-310 (193.3 - 227.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO 44HP EVs ensures that Tyranitar survives a Surf from a modest Starmie, and a timid one can't OHKO at all. Max speed/special attack Starmie dies no matter what it does due to the Sandstorm damage. [/spoiler] This is only scratching the surface of how stupidly good a physical Pursuit is too - the revenge killing potential of Aerodactyl, Snorlax's ability to force a large percentage of the meta out, and the sheer power of Tyranitar make this move worth looking at. It forces a lot of mind games that are almost always in favour of the Pursuit user. A lot of Pokemon have access to this move too, including Pokemon as stupidly good as Metagross. New breeding system. Megathread Discussion.
This still causes the same problems. The first player breeds Skarms A, B, C, D, E and F. They keep A-E for themselves since they don't plan to rebreed then they sell Skarm F. The buyer of Skarm F then breeds Skarms G, H, I, J and K, keeps G-J, and sells K. Skarm K then becomes the breeder for another player and the cycle continues. It's literally the same thing as it has been these past few months, and completely undermines the new system.

New breeding system. Megathread Discussion.
The problem with this is that the species is still slowly being inflated. If you breed Skarm A, you end up with Skarm B while Skarm A still exists. Then you breed Skarm B to get Skarm C. You can probably see where I'm going with this. A large part of the new system is to stop cloning and to make rare Pokemon rare again.

Thanks for pointing that out - I'm not sure how I missed it. For the sake of people logging on just for it, let's make it 4:00PM EST. I'm sorry for any confusion that this may have caused. To clarify the time, it's two hours from the edit time of this post. Edit: Also, everyone who signed up will be on the bracket~ Can't have all of that effort go to waste.

[IPS] Moemon Fire Red Revival Project (Updated 9-17-2019)
The main/best spriter we have currently isn't working on this unless I'm mistaken, and I'm usually pretty busy. Perhaps I'll find some time to work on fixing some of the ones I didn't get around to making backsprites for soon. Maybe we'll see a new version if I complete them all - who knows? The main/probably-only source for the images in the patch are in the thread and rom itself as quite a few were made specifically for this. 1.4 is indeed the latest patch. The rest of the answers I'll leave to Moetal~ More spriters are always appreciated though~

CatchMMO Comeback (December 20th)
It will count as a different OT. You can still use it, but at least 4/6 Pokemon used in each battle have to be the OT of the character that you play on.

CatchMMO Comeback (December 20th)
There is still plenty of time to obtain one, and it's not overly difficult~ One can be won from the Trainer Tower in a day or two if the player has a decent team for it or one can be bought from another player after a couple of days of money grinding. If the first method isn't possible, the second one, while more time consuming, is something that every player has access to. There are still more than two weeks left, so how players spend that time is up to them. If they want a Choice Band, they still have time to get one.
