  1. There is no berry sink in the Battle Frontier as of now, since the current system makes berries practically useless (lum berry could be useful to remove some rng, but mostly not.) The only thing the current system does is discouraging players from using berries in the Battle Frontier at all. There might be a reason for this, seing as salac berry, sitrus berry, chesto berry and lum berry are all potentially very powerful. If not, I would support one of the above suggestion to make it possible to replenish berries.

all options are bad. the solution is to auto-replenish the item from your bag - if they find any

Definitely not saying that berries cost too much, because I know someone is probably going to see it and misconstrue it. If you use a berry every battle for 7 battles in a row, and you're trying to grind for .... let's say, a special move. Extremespeed for Dratini, Surf/Fly/Espeed on Pikachu, etcetera -- the money can add up to be a good amount.

Perhaps this can go hand-in-hand with berry farming? That we really hope for it to be implemented in the future.

  2. As the title says, Pokemon with 2 egg groups (Magikarp, Whismur, Nidorina) aren't showing in their 2nd egg group when using the "Advanced Search" option on the GTL.

Magikarp only shows in Water B, not Dragon

Whismur only shows in Monster, not Field

Nidorina only shows in Monster, not Field.

    So on, so forth.

I don't know if this was intentional, or if it simply couldn't work, but it could use a fix.

  3. If I'm not mistaken, in the Battle Maison on the Generation 6 handhelds they replenish your berry if it's used. I know they did it for the Pokemon World Tournament in the Generation 5 handheld games too.

The folks in charge could just implement Option 1 (rip berry sink) and have it be done, because it doesn't give that much of an advantage boost to begin with.

Or maybe I'm thinking that it's too easy to get BP by slapping a Choice Band on an Aerodactyl/Tauros/Salamence and sweeping. Wouldn't hurt to add this for some folks who are trying to get CBs/other items, or testing their stuff on Frontier NPCs.

edit: RIP just remembered that Mental Herb and White Herb are consumable and cost BP, that's why this won't get implemented, cri

  4. Hello it's me everyone ^_^

I'm andreas4301, andreasquen in the game, and I'm new here, and to the game itself.

First of all, I want to thank the creators of this brilliant game and everyone who takes part in evolving and retaining the game. You really deserve a cookie xD

Anyway, I'd like to ask something about the game. While playing with Seedot and Nuzleaf in Emerald, I found out that the levels they learned their moves (and also the moves themselves) were based on ORAS, instead of Gen. III. Are my "discoveries" correct? Is there a guide to this?

Sorry if this should've been posted elsewhere.

    Thanks in advance :D

Hey there! Let me be the first to welcome you to PokeMMO! You'll find me ingame as "Linwe," I also run a friendly and helpful team referred to as "KSEM" or Kingsteel Empire.

As for your "discovery," that is very much true. The movesets are based on Generation 6 learnsets, lacking the Generation 6 moves.

  5. You don't really need to dedicate a battle box to a tier.

Just give the players 5 battle boxes.

And they do what they want with them.

It's up to you to make an OU, UU, NU and doubles.

Or if you're strictly a UU player, you can make five UU battle boxes.

As for the secret base thing, it'd seem we just don't want you to be able to heal our party for PvE purposes.

But having access to your comps for tournament mode in itself isn't really a problem.

So what you'd need is access to your full selection of pokes in your PC, but only transferrable between your PC and Battle box. And leave your party out of there.

Battle box could be added as a 4th menu optino when you open PC alongside your PC, GTL and Mail.

And in the secret base, you'd have all those except "your pc".

I think this right here is what could finally kill this "PC in secret base" thing and get it implemented, because I think what we want is to be able to swap around comps for battling INSIDE bases. (I saw something about PokeDailies being hosted in a secret base, which would be cool)

A PC with a system that lets me use these Pokemon(comps) only in the base would be awesome.

P.S. EVERYONE LOOK AT EGGPLANT'S POST ITS GOING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM

  6. While my mind is thinking on it...

What if when you engaged in a duel, and you had your comps assigned to a particular team (sorry for this being similar to showdown i see it already),

Say you went in your PC Box and pre-determined a comp team for yourself say you could have Team 1, and all of your Team 1 Pokemon in your boxes would have a "1" on them or something.

Then when you engaged a duel, you could select the team you use. "Party" or "Battle Box" Then you select "Battle Box, Team 1" and then choose your lead, then kapoof, duel starts. K just throwing that out there. There's probably some way to exploit this so if it isn't good I'll shut up :)

  7. Well, you could technically fish another pokemon and teach it surf, as long as you have a rod.

But it's a nice point, maybe we could use something else other than /unstuck

If someone has the nerve to mail off their HM Pokemon for the lulz, and not have Pokeballs, and not have a rod....

They really need to uninstall, and never play Pokemon again.

Sorta ontopic, the Battle Box idea could definitely play into this and could be a fair ground between us wanting some fun factor into an irrelevant "feature" and whatever counter-argument the staff has.

  8. Well, damn. I happened to be derping around in team chat, and had a thought. What if the username I tried to get in 2013 wasn't taken anymore due to character wipes in the past? So lil' snazzy me creates another account for the lols. I type in the name I first tried to get, and -- boom -- the character was created.

So now, I'm no longer xFatex.

    I'm now Linwe.

Hi, my username is Linwe on PokeMMO. I've been a channel 2 regular on PokeMMO for some time, and I originally joined in 2013, sometime in February. I'm probably known for my horrid shitposting in Channel chat. (Sorry Bestfriends, can I make it up to you?)

My favorite Pokemon is probably Gligar, but Cradily is cool too.

I'm the "Boss" of a team based in Channel 2, Kingsteel Empire [KSEM].

I like music, Pokemon, Smash Bros, and reading/writing, to name a few things.

I am happily married to someone who shares a lot of the same interests as myself -- except for Smash Bros, he sucks.

From me to you, have a wonderful day/night, wherever you may be.

    ~Linwe

  9. I'm also playing with a controller and your suggestion seems very weird to me. Personally I would never use it but what's weird is that the original games are meant to be played with a controller and the way they work for any kind of selection is that you have a highlight thingy that you have to move around and press A.

If you're playing with a controller, that means you can select menu items normally in-battle using the analog stick/D-pad and whatever button you use to select it. Perhaps that would be how it works once you select the button for "Bag"

I use an Xbox 360 controller sometimes when I hook my laptop up to the TV in my living room, and being able to do this instead of jabbing the analog stick in one direction etc is a convenience.

Remember what I said, it's a "convenience." Not a "necessity."

While it may be awesome for this, it's just as you said -- not a top priority.
