maybe you did the calcs wrong? i triple checked and nothing wrong on my end. also hera standard reversal set is 252 att/speed leaving 6 remaining ev's. it makes no sense to put them in def or hp as sp def matters so much. literally one point can make a dif in sp def which is why the last 4 are there. i dont see what is wrong with this. also i'll give you more examples later busy atm and i dont want to spam up the thread if we are the only people who care about the calcs.

the value diffrence between a charmander and a charizard would change. as it is now, evo's are permanent. if this were implemented then shinys would be unevolvable at the high cost of 2 for 1 shiny's. sounds good imo.

i think the standard will plunge more then 6x25. further more the difference between 25 and 31 is huge for many damage calcs. examples would be cb dnite vs vapo or starmie vs heracross or aero vs bliss. having a heracross that can guaranteed live a starmies psychic is a huge advantage. having a dragonite that can 2hko the average vaporeon after protect +leftovers hp addition is a huge advantage. ect...

i agree with you mostly. there will be a large number of shitty to semi decent pokemon on the market for prices that a week ago we could have gotten 3-5x31's for. the good stuff will be kept in pc's and taken out rarely for tournaments. breeding teams will fall apart. as to your cost of living analogy i think many players just wont breed and will wait out this breeding phaze or quit. cost of living irl is not optional. here it is.

this already happens to the majority of new players but the percentage who stay i think will decrease while that sounds great in theory you guys do have a history of taking months to fix simple problems. how many people will quit instead of waiting? we all want this game to suceed. i would just like to say that we dont have enough information yet to know whether noad and rache's experiments are the average or not. some people find a shiny within the first 5 minutes other go 4k+ hours finding none. we dont have enough numbers yet to accurately get a idea of the math. so i have been around for a bit and would like to give my 2cents. there will always be trading of some sort or another as long as people think there is a way to profit. that being said basic econimcs. when people have confidence in the market they will buy and sell expecting they can work to get back the resources. when they do not have confidence in the market they will not sell or buy except what they absolutely must. the problem with this breeding update is it makes breeding a risk. you can loose irreplaceable pokemon and get unusable pokemon that have little value. you also cant lend or borrow breeders. i have not spent much time in game of late so i only know what i have heard from others. however i find myself thinking this
