  1. Having to use that crap is the reason I purposely don't have an avatar.
  2. There are already two full rom hacks for gen3 that implemented Johto.
  3. I think this has some merit, but do we really want certain TMs to be harder to find than lucky eggs? Look at Dragon Claw and Safeguard. You like torturing people or something? Safari Zone should not be included in this. Additionally, I understand having all the TMs listed for completion's sake, but why bother for TMs that are sold in Celadon? No one is gonna farm Diglets for Dig or Gyarados for Hyper Beam, they're gonna go to Celadon Department Store for those. Other than that, it's a solid idea.
  4. I don't like this idea. It's against the spirit of pokemon to know your opponent's lineup ahead of time. The average level counter is fine, it just needs to work both ways. Currently (unless it's been changed and I didn't notice), only the person being challenged gets a prompt showing the average level of the challenger. You should be able to see the average level of the person you are challenging and back out if it's much higher than you can deal with. I've had to accept duels from lower level players several times and ended up wiping the floor with them; to me, rejecting a duel is cowardice (unless they GROSSLY overlevel you and you stand no chance at all) and would be unacceptable. If the opponent could see my average level, they would have been able to cancel the duel after I accept. Maybe something like: "Your duel request has been accepted. Opponent's average level: X. Are you sure you wish to continue?"
  5. Just give pokemon "hm slots" that can't actually be used in battle, but will allow you to use map moves. When you use the HM it will give you the option to have it actually learn the move or assign it to the Pokemon's HM slot. This way you still need Pokemon capable of learning the HMs, but don't have to waste your valuable attack slots.
  6. Plizard, I love that idea. It will ensure TMs stay out there, without making them TOO available. However, might I suggest using in-game days, rather than actual days? This will give an actual purpose to the day/night cycle beyond Espeon and Umbreon.
  7. The game won't even be worth playing if you can't get Pokemon with the moves you want. Anyone who wants to participate in a tournament will just be forced to make alts to get what they need for their teams. But what's the point of that? Haven't we earned the right to the endgame by the time we've played through the storyline? And in the first place, we've all played Red and Blue's storyline enough times, you want to force us to make alts and do it again every time we want a simple TM? Just make them available. I don't care if they are expensive as hell or I have to jump through flaming hoops, just make a way for us to get them. Please.
  8. Wasn't the only real point of the Pokeradar to fight long ass chain battles and farm shinies? I remember it raised your rate of encountering a Shiny by a certain amount every time you increase the chain count. I think I'd rather keep shinies rare, keeps the trade value high. I don't relly even want any, but if I ever stumble across one, I'd like to be able to sell it for a pretty penny.
  9. I don't like the "fight the leader to join" idea at all. The usual invite system like in every other MMO would be my preference.
  10. You could just have guild leaders control guild hall permissions. They'll have a list of members and they can toggle permissions for members, like ability to enter gym, ability to use the Guild PC, ability to decorate (if decorating is added), etc. Add a toggle for Public/Private. In Private Mode (default), no one can enter except members who are allowed and anyone the leader adds to a guest list; public lets anyone in. Player walks to the door, it displays a list of all the gyms they can enter, with their guild gym at the top for simplicity. Here's an idea: we could replace the Net Center on One Island (it was used to link up with Sapphire and Ruby or something, but is worthless now) and turn it into our empty player gym. It already looks kind of like a Gym. I also feel there should be a certain member count before you are allowed to have a gym.
