ItsAPotato's Achievements

  1. In the character menu, you can see the player's badges, Pokédex, money, battle points, etc. But it doesn't show the player's accomplishments. Like completing Sevii islands, or becoming Pokémon Champion (well, indirectly it does, by showing max obedience level). But it would be nice to have a sort of "Achievements" tab where the player can see which storylines he's completed, and at what stage he's on. Stages not completed could be hidden or darkened, to prevent the player from being able to see what's next. This could help them keep track of their current "quests". Also, this could help them keep track of NPC's who are offering trades, professor's aides they've met (but haven't collected the rewards for yet), etc. Also, adding a "Fortuneteller" NPC could help. When the player's character talks with this NPC, they'll tell the player of a location they can go to in order to begin the next stage of their journey, along with a vague clue on how to start it. This can be a single mission "quest", or an entire storyline. This can give players who feel a bit lost the direction they need on what to do next, without giving them too much in regards to spoilers, and being an optional NPC, players can decide whether they'd like to speak with the fortuneteller (always have a confirmation prompt). The "fortunes" given would always be level-appropriate, and a limited number of unfinished "quests" can remain incomplete before next "fortunes" are given. This means that players can't just get all the missions for their level. Also, eventually a player will have completed most, if not all the remaining "quests" and main storylines. Once that happens, the NPC could direct the player towards the MMO aspects of PokéMMO, such as events, trading and more. This can help with player retention, player interest, ensuring players don't feel lost. And directing players towards interactions with the wider community would definitely help. Just some ideas. Cheers. 🙂
  2. 1. Add a 2nd hotbar, below the 1st hotbar, with F1 to F9 by default, for PC and MAC (or any platform, as long as a keyboard is detected). So you'd have F1-F9, 1-9, for a total of 18 hotbar items in your hotbar.
  3. Suggestion: Add a 2nd Hotkey bar for PC, from F1 to F10 (by default) Why?: Ocarinas, mainly. But it's useful beyond that, for those who have many items.
