  1. i have a pretty filthy hp elec shellder that i just finished ev training that i would listen to offers for, dont remember exact ivs, but it was good enough for me to train it

hp elec isn't really a priority of mine, but i guess i'm interested at this point.

    what exactly are the ivs?

  2. Since you need 5 specific IVs, it would be treated as a 5x31, since it would need the same amount of braces. Yes, it can be done for 700k, might be slightly more for the egg move.

    oh, let's make a 5x31 then.

I'll pay you 1 mil for the poke with rapid spin then.

    Estimated time?

  3. You've got the only non-gimicky ghost pokemon in the metagame that is immune to seismic tossses from chansey then you don't put a move on it to take out or annoy chansey. Personally I run brick break/night shade. You can get chansey better than brick break hits too if you W-o-W it, then wait for it to heal, then hit chansey focus punch. However, you have to be careful when usin W-o-W (ursaring/heracross/arcanine).

why would you drop an actually useful move to stay against something that not only you're not going to beat, but that will status you for sure.

    i mean

    0 Atk Dusclops Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Chansey: 164-194 (45.9 - 54.3%) -- 5.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

i don't know you, but i'd switch to something else

Edit: also i wouldn't call haunter a gimmick, it's legit scary when you're not expecting it

  4. I still cant quote you, wtf..  but that sounds amazing Vaedras

w-o-w , haze, stoss and pain split then.

Hmm so my team is gonna be dusclops, umbreon, garde with protect instead of calm mind and DD kingdra.

For the another 2, any advice?

For sure another ph wall, dusclops is a bit too frail to work alone.

Forretress + dusc is a pretty good core, dusk makes for a good spin blocker.

Ludicolo can work too, gyarados would be your main concern with dusclops and no other ph wall.

Anything that cover dusclops weaknesses, really.

Then probably some offensive pokemon to balance your team, but it really depends on your style.

You could make it even more defensive and run a stall/spikes team.

  5.

I SEE.. why is the calm mind set not worth it?

in my team i have a

support Gardevoir with w-o-w , calm mind, psychic and wish. evs on HP and DEF.

Umbreon with mean look, toxic, wish and heal bell

Im thinking of replacing my Rain dance kingdra with DD kingdra

    Those stay for sure.

but i also got a Sceptile with Swords dance, thunderpunch, leaf blade, Eartquake

Aerodactyl with taunt, crunch, eartquake and Rock slide.

ANNDD im planning on getting a Espeon or Metagross.

So thats an idea of my team.. idk how to make dusclops to fit in.

i tried to Quote you, Vaedras but it wont let me

I would drop calm mind on gardevoir for something like protect or tbolt, you're not gonna setup with it anyway, while any of those 2 moves would be of immense help.

Wasn't sure if dusc was moved to ou, but the set i gave you was meant to be used mainly in ou, which is where it has been helpful to me.

works similiar to weezing, except you have to rely on stoss to deal solid damage. still 3hko'd by metagross, so pain split + wow is what you're gonna use to wall that and most ph sweepers.

Haze is good to have against metagross, heracross and sometimes even linoone

It's a good ph wall, but it needs a bit of support.

  6. Hello guys im about to breed a Dusclops 5x31 but idk about the nature..

    BOLD or CAREFUL?

    If careful

    252 HP, 56 def , 200 SpDef

Will o wisp, rest, shadow punch, seismic toss

    IF BOLD

    252 HP, 200 DEF, 56 SP.ATK

WILL O WISP , CALM MIND, REST, ICE BEAM

don't bother running a calm mind set.

Impish is perfectly viable too if you intend to run this set: will o wisp, pain split, seismic toss, haze/coverage.

Also depends on what your team needs, but it's either max def or max sp def.

I personally like it as a ph wall, it's typing should work better with that.
