This is the thing people should be focusing on, instead of finding reasons to ban the little pink cunt. I know there's not much to work with, since we still don't have the proper resources from later gens, but for the love of god, I'm pretty sure people can spend more time thinking of a way to go around chansey than to insist on banning it. In our twisted metagame. There are ways to deal with it, and I can see people saying "But that makes chansey too centralizing, ban it", no, it just turns out chansey is gonna be the one poke that defines the metagame, and I'm talking after all the bans that is. More bans would be futile, atleast that's what I think, feel free to disagree, not like we all have the same view on it anyway.

I can assure you, half of those new people don't leave. They are new, they still haven't realized how much of a grind this game is, and they end up grinding as much as they can, you can pretty much see one example if you look a page or two back.

Yeah, it'd still come out as a OU tier that wouldn't have too many pokes that are considered OU material. Pseudo-legends without gen4 pokemon/abilities/items would basically be as I said, pre-said legendaries and a few other currently metagame defining pokemon (metagross/slowbro/chansey/etc)

Still though, that being implemented would drastically change OU, and after that all tiers actually, seeing as they'd be the things that the metagame is gonna be fixated on, it's not even theorymon, but basic logic, seeing as right now, they'd be OP af, and OU would mostly be for them only, and a few of the other, currently considered OU pokemon. I can see half, if not more of the OU tier being dropped either to UU, or BL and never be used or whatever. Not that it's bad though, I'd love to see that shit happen, atleast it's a change that doesn't suck. That's all good, buuuut it might be a better idea before you make the decision, share it with the public and see what they mean, maybe they have an even better idea, or some tweak that might help the whole thing become better, just saying.

Your solution to just get comps is to already buy premade things from the trade corner. Someone still has to breed those pokemon so they actually do show up in the trade corner in the first place, so it's kind of an invalid point in this case. Also, GTL only gets you the beggining resources to breed your own shit, as Panda said, you still have to breed, wait for egg hatching, EV and level them.

There's people that have grinded for years now and they're kinda having it wayyyy over their head, so they don't want to do it anymore. which is why all these new players keep flaunting their 6x31 worthless breeds that they probably will never use. It's repetitive, no one said it's not a way to earn money, but when you've done it for a long time, you kinda lose the will to do it, and anyway, it's still not even near enough to earn money.
