  1. I agree and glad they plan on working on it, but if we get those spammed forum threads like "when in shinnoh and jonton" then god help us
  2. People will be spamming about hidden abilities and dungeons
  3. Understandable, the term pure cash usually just means cash without any vanities/shinies etc alongside the deal.
  4. Without naming them, there's 2 or 3 people who have/had 1 billion money - it's definitely possible if you stocked up on old vanities from 2015-16. Either way definitely legit
  5. Of course funds permitting, but some proposals going forwards: Continue running the PBS until the intended timescales Continue running PSL once a year as the 'main' PvP event Re-introduce master invitationals for OU, NU, UU (and potentially Doubles/LC) with the forum sigs and final event (prize could be a competitive shiny from a selected choice, a rare vanity or cash) - these were really popular in the past but unfortunately they will now need to be hosted unofficially - timescales to be considered I don't really think we need anything else to be honest, the Einstein Discord regularly hosts mini tag team / individual tourneys, including weekly LCs. We also have the automated tours and monthly TTs, (even if there are minor issues with these such as prizes and the system). The competitive scene was at its prime between 2013-2016 - even if we can't receive the sufficient funds for these tourneys every time, having that novelty such as 'Best performing OU player' and being recognised by the competitive community would be great. Also the Lava and Past leagues are pretty cool, but these kind of wear out the novelty from the PSL in my opinion as the format is pretty much similar.
  6. Sadly with these type of events full commitment is essential to get the best rewards. Although I agree with your concept, it shouldn't be changed.
  7. This is normal for the first few days of the event as more are in market so the price will inevitably drop - a lot of players who farm want quick and easy cash so to avoid their listing being there for a while they try and sell cheaper (there are so many listings made within the first few minutes), not realising that their competitors will likely do this as well so that 'lowered' price becomes the norm. Generally the ideal method is to sell all the envelopes you have on the first 1-2 days, buy them near the peak / middle of the event, and then sell them again either 1-2 days after the event finishes or wait until a few months until the price hopefully increases enough for a decent sized profit.
  8. This has happened because of the huge popularity of a really well designed vanity item, (if you compare the demand to the recent eyeball masks and snowglobe hat). I think there'll be a short-term drop in price as some players will likely sell the item near the end of the event if they need cash, but it looks like this vanity will definitely increase significantly - it'll probably take a few weeks/months though IMO.
  9. There is literally no point in profiting from items in the Pokemart, the minor exceptions were the Rocket Uniform and a few TMs, which would only be around $3,000-5,000 profit (you also need to include the listing fee) - you would make more money battling 2 NPCs without an amulet coin. If people still want to buy these items (e.g. TMs) but can't access them via the Marts, then they can still buy them from GTL, just not for ridiculous prices. If you want to make money but can't get into the shiny/vanity market (as prices are understandably ridiculous), you'd be better off doing NPC/Gym re-battles. Honestly, there isn't an issue in this change, there are several guides to help with making money too.
  10. Playing Team Geschmacksverkalkung in 20-30 minutes
  11. I agree with Quakkz - this will also stop people abusing vanity items from the Pokemart (e.g. Teddy ears) The economy won't be affected by this at all, the economy is based around shinies, breeds and rare/event based vanity items - if you relied on Pokemart items for profit, that's really bad lol.
  12. It's a dungeon like event similar to the Christmas one. You and your team choose 3 Pokemon - each Pokemon will have a fixed moveset (from what I'm aware) Like the Christmas event, you have to battle Pokemon in 'swarms', these usually appear in pairs. The more Pokemon you kill, the more swarms are cleared. You can change your Pokemon from a selected list during the swarms by going to the temple near the top of the dungeon. After a few swarms (not sure on the exact number) there's the boss you can battle, (fire type if I recall). After the boss the swarms get harder as the Pokemon call for help, similar to the elfbots. Regarding prizes, it wouldn't surprise me - after you beat the boss once you receive 8 red envelopes and 1 lucky red envelope (around 300 - 350k right now) Overall it should take around an hour for each run. Hope this helps.
  13. Can't have an event without a server crash :D (I have a feeling GTL was overloaded)
  14. The colours are to let people know which type of vanities the items are. For example, Seasonal items will almost guarantee to return in Halloween, Christmas, etc. Event only items can return for that specific event, but it's unlikely to. Limited items are items which will never make a return to the game again. People were selling items from the Poke Mart for profit (e.g. Teddy ears) - this is the only change which was made.
  15. Prices are unstable for these vanities but - Knight Helmet - I see someone offering 500m for one. Blue/Orange Skull Mask - I think they're between 200 - 300m.
  16. This is exactly the type of theme / GUI I'm looking for. Really great job man, can't wait for you to get it finished - it'll be worth the wait for sure :)
  17. I think option B works better depending on timezone / weekdays for some teams and players, would the first 8 spots go to the quarter-finalists of the previous TT?
  18. This is an interesting idea which I support as it will help to solve the registration issue. Could you please confirm, the one match would be the winner against one of the 32 teams chosen at random?
