So I did a little math and TechNine has a bit of a point. Once a shiny has reached a price of over 2M, its costs more than 100k to post it. Im aware of the money sink they are trying to create, but to lose more than 100k to simply POST / i.e. ADVERTISE a price of something over 2M seems excessive to me. Maybe have a cap of 100K for a posting?

I second adding Tiers to the advanced search option, it would be a really nice option for the large community of people who catch, breed, sell and buy COMP pokemon. For example, my team holds a tourny every week with different Tier stipulations. Alot of the time weve been scrambling to catch, breed and train a pokemon specifically for the tourny. If we could search on the GTL for a specific tier and simply BUY a comp-ready pokemon, it would free up a lot of time for those of us who have IRL responsibilities likes jobs, etc. I also suggest adding TYPE to the advanced search feature. A lot of times I simply forgot who all is in a certain type when its dominated by a few specific pokemon. Electric type is dominated by Pikachu for example, and I cant tell you how many times I forget about Electabuzz and Magneton lol

Id like to see a search option for 1 particular number across all 6 stats. Right now you could set it at 'min 31' to 'max 31' and 0 to 31 in every other option to find one particular 31 stat or however many you want to find. But theres no way to set it to search for a 31 in just ANY stat, only a particular one. So instead of just any 5x31, you could only only search for 5x31 minus say SP ATK in particular, for example.

I second the idea of making Trade chat a global chat again actually, it is too quiet on every channel except 1 & 2. And I dont like having to change channels to get any life out of it. Im not sure if I agree with reduced tax on shinies though.

I second adding the TYPE of pokemon to its pokedex listing. Cant tell you how many time Ive tried to look up TYPE in the Dex and it wasnt there so I had to go to a PC and fish out a pokemon and look at its summary instead. TYPE is one of those things that should be standard in a PokeDex. Abilities available in-game would also be really helpful in the Dex. There isnt currently any way to look up exactly what abilities are available INGAME for each pokemon since we lack all the gens. That creates confusion when looking up abilities via third party.

I think we simply need a shift in the purpose of the TRADE chat, instead of it being solely a ticker tape for advertising, start using it to haggle, negotiate and discuss prices. We could have real conversation going on in the TRADE chat for the first time.

You could hold a meeting inside a Secret Base, its your own private channel. But you all have to be inside of it at the same time.

I came to the Suggestion thread purely to suggest a Healing Bed item be added to secret bases. So I read through this entire thread. I still dont see a reasonable argument for preventing healing in one's secret base. As of right now, secret bases are pretty useless. The items arent tradable. The items are appropirately expensive. You get your own "channel" to talk on. You get to decorate it. And the most useful feature (or "exploitable" as some seem to think those two words mean the same thing): refreshing a map to collect ashes I see the secret base as a positive in every way it was mentioned as a negative. The secret base SHOULD be a way to set up camp in a certain area, and portable. It would make the secret bases actually USEFUL. I think a PC and a Healing Bed both would be good ideas. Realistically you could charge people a good 100-150k for a healing bed, maybe even up to 350k if the developers wanted to create a money sink. You could also charge for the PC, in the same 100-350k area for a "Secret Base PC Update" or something similar so your PC will link to the Pokecenter's system. As for the "time saved" issue, as if that is REALLY a negative, you could always add a timer to the Healing Bed, like 30 seconds with a soundbite like while waiting at the PC to heal in the original games. A similar timer could be added to the PC usage to avoid people form never buying a Healing Bed item. And to add attractiveness to spending 6 figures on a bed when you simply COULD just go to a Pokecenter 30 seconds away for free, you design a few attractive styles to choose from ranging in prices. Maybe the current plain white Healing Bed you see around the game is 100k, but the 'Pink Ultra Plush Princes Bed' is 350k. Get it?

the secretiveness about the release date of the update may also point to an xmas event starting too

I think I understand better, but I dont quite understand the BL tier since it isnt a playable tier in the game, how exactly does that work? Just as a standard rule everyone should be informed on? Or what?

That sounds an awful lot like punishing someone for being good at battling/strategy. Im not sure the entire issue is whether or not Scizor is too powerful for UU, but could it stand on it's own in OU? Without reliable STAB type moves, which is a staple in the OU tier, I feel like Scizor will be crushed and no longer a decent battler for anyone.

Ill admit Ive not too well-versed in battling to compete in OU really, but I have to question your counter on Scizor killing off Houndoom and Manetric who are both WAY faster and would kill Scizor with a single move before it could attack with RETURN.

I dont like the pure white either, specifically referring to the PARTY pokemon UI, I liked it better when it was grey and could fade into the background. Its REALLY harsh on the eyes. Changing theme colors freezes my game too. =/ & from what I could see in the settings, you cant even change the pure white part of the UI.
