  1. Oops, my bad, Gen 6 even, got mixed up there as Pokemmo is up to Gen5. So the move sets are what each Pokemon have in the latest games but only the moves available up to gen 5?
  2. I'm thinking about playing some more now that Johto is coming, so on reading up recent updates I noticed that a lot of Gen 8/9 features like Snow and the Ice Type balancing have been introduced a well as move set changes, etc but Fairy Type all the way from Gen 6 is still missing? This just seems quite strange and confusing, keeping things pre-Gen 6 made sense to me before but now this mishmash of Gen 8/9 and Gen 5 is a bit confusing. Just wondering if there's been any news on this? Either way, I'll take Johto over fairy typing any day, easily the most nostalgic for me, it's amazing to see how far Pokemmo has come over the years. Edit: Got my gens mixed up, meant Gen 6 not Gen 5.
  3. Legendaries could offer rare TMs, perhaps even some TMs unique to PokeMMO (such as legendary signature moves like Sacred Fire) instead of being able to catch them.
  4. My friend suggested this to me the other day too, it would be excellent. Just make it so that if the player is outdoors they can have more than one Pokemon following them around, and when indoor only one. Instead of just a conga line, maybe Pokemon should try and go to the left and right side of the trainer too, if there is an open space.
  5. Would be useful for me, I use the arrow keys on my PC and WASD on my laptop (got a Keypad for my PC which is set to emulate the arrow keys in other games). This features is just pure convenience though, but simple.
  6. Could be done, would be quite a nice feature too now thaqt I think about it, especially if your using just a laptop's touch pad or a touchscreen or something.
  7. Personally I don't fancy the click and walk feature, but could always be another option for other people. It would possibly require path-finding though like Atuan mentioned, which although not the worst thing to make with a tile based game and no other moving objects to worry about, it's still a lot to add for just another control method. (I've done path-finding for a game before, only with multiple navmeshes and 3D landscapes, a right pain lol). Path-finding could be client side though, sending on movement step to the server, this means the server isn't calculating everyone's path-finding at once.
  8. Can you? This is what I suggested in my first post...
  9. Well it would be optional in the settings menu so would be ok for people who find it annoying, everyone wins.
  10. I think the every part of the game can be played with the keyboard alone, not sure about using items outside of battle or viewing Pokemon stats though. However the mouse is missing one essential thing, and that is the ability to move the player character. Sometimes when I'm lying in bed, half awake, just topping up some EVs I just want to use the mouse rather than having to lean over and use the keyboard all the time, yes I'm lazy, but I imagine a lot of people are and games like this should be relaxing as well as intense! Mouse movement could be quite simple and easily disabled in the settings menus for people who disagree. To move the player character up, just left/right click and hold above the character, to move right, click and hold to the right, etc. Whether it's left or right click could be set in the settings menu too, I'd prefer left click. Also if the player was to click and hold above the character, but then decide to turn right, the player should be able to keep the button held in and just drag the mouse to the right in order to change direction, same goes for other directions. An auto run feature both both mouse and keyboard movement would be nice too. This would be very easy and convenient to use and it's also a step towards touch screen support for laptops and tablet PCs capable of running PokeMMO.
  11. I don't like this idea, if weekly/monthly Pokemon Swarms were implemented it would be much better than this and more interesting. Getting daily Pokemon outside of the game sounds is just too easy, even if it's just Ratatta. I know that over 20 could be caught very easily in minutes but still it requires the player actually playing the game.
