1. The poor lady just has an unfortunate name.
2. It must be the first member of your party, other slots do not count. All 50 are available, there is currently no list of locations so do some exploring! I don't believe we have any plans to give this information outright, someone may make a guide later on. They use the same cooldown time as that of the NPCs in the FR region.
3. We are not able to provide you with a Fire Red V1.0 ROM as it would go against our Code of Conduct. Once you have obtained a Fire Red V1.0 ROM it must be placed in the 'roms' folder inside the first directory of your PokeMMO client.
4. The Laidback Zone is here to stay, it will be treated no differently to the temporary team thread used in The Round Table currently. There are many who have drawn a comparison between Off Topic and The Round Table. As far as general conversation goes that comparison is reasonable, this is why the Laidback Zone will be treated in a similar way to a team thread. We've also borrowed a few of The Round Tables rules for Off Topic. Yeah, pretty much. You should find it is back where it belongs~ There seems to be a misunderstanding with this one, we don't intend to create a mega thread for everything or many new topics at all. It simply means we will keeping the current ones such as the Laidback Zone and the General Image/Video thread.
5. A current mockup of the rules for those interested, this is subject to change: The threads being removed from Off Topic currently are ones that have passed in relevance, breach these rules or contain content that should be posted in the Laidback Zone (which we intend to keep). The Laidback zone will be used for more open discussion without a specific topic whilst threads created inside of the section should contain more directed discussion on a particular topic.
6.

Yeah, I think you might be. I'm sorry for your loss.
7. Clearer rules (As the feedback in this thread suggests that they were difficult to understand). Removal of threads that don't adhere to these rules Creation of new general threads to remove bickering over who is OP of a thread and to prevent the thread from 'expiring' once that user leaves.
8. If we need a moderator who specifically 'understands' the section, then that would imply that it is being treated differently to other sections of the forums. This isn't 4chan, people should not have to lurk to get a better understanding of a specific sections culture. If a moderator cannot understand the section then a new user to the forums will have equal amounts of trouble. Off Topic will be treated the same as any of our other sections and should be able to be moderated by any moderator capable of doing so.
9. That's great, you or I may be aware of that but a new user and anybody looking in from the outside isn't. All they are going to see is one user calling another a 'shitter' and that being considered acceptable behavior. This isn't your Facebook wall, I don't care how friendly you are with someone; speak to others as you would in public. We're not going to do that.
10. Whilst we care deeply about the meta game (as is apparent with the upholding of the Official Tier Council), rushing the implementation of anything is generally a bad idea. Fred put it fairly well above; the meta game may have to hold on a little longer as the possibility for more content is generally more important and 'just uber' legendaries doesn't fit in with what we have planned.
11. That's a pretty moot analogy since nobody is looking to garner respect from Off Topic regulars, we're aiming to moderate the section.
12. We'll give you more information as we get it, as of now there is nothing new to pass on. Thank you for your patience.
13. As Daft has pointed out, we deal with these cases whenever they are presented to us. I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience and do hope that you give the game another try. In future, if you come across anybody breaking the rules, feel free to use the in game 'Support Request' system accessed via the menu or make a thread here: https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/forum/28-player-reports/ If you do decide to continue, I wish you luck with your nuzlocke!
14. I'm just noting that I've hidden some posts due to things becoming rude and going off topic. Please keep things on topic if you intend to post and don't insult other users, it's unneeded
15. It's definitely possible and something we may do in the future.
16. It's a fully fledged competitive or 'Showdown-style' timer.
17. Provided they follow our Global Forum rules: https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/forum-7/announcement-11-rules-for-ingame-forums-irc/ You're welcome to suggest anything.
18. When weaponry or equipment is used as an analogy it is not being used as a reference to real life, but a reference to game mechanics; especially those found within an MMO environment. This is the only aspect that matters. Whilst they may not match up on a scale of rarity:usefulness (and because our meta game is not static) it holds no bearing over whether or not the mechanics match up with that of other MMOs. It would not matter whether do or do not, they're used in exactly the same way regardless.
19. Not at all, in fact if it strengthens it even further. IVs. If you're familiar with many MMOs outside of runescape, you'll know they have a 'fortification' system, which takes materials and allows you to improve upon their current stats. Here you are able to 'fortify' via breeding. And to state the obvious; they are used to complete your objective, without them you would not be able to progress and battle and get through the rest of the game. Egg Moves/Event Moves/TMs/Anything outside of standard level-up moves can be looked at as similar to enchantment stones, where you use a external consumable on a particular piece of equipment to better improve it's fighting or defensive capabilities. There are of course limited slots (Four in our case) to prevent you from making things too powerful. Runescape falls very flat when it comes to more complex MMO systems.
20. Rarity does not always coincide with usefulness, and the usefulness of each species is not something that is static. In Runescape the usefulness of each type of Armour gets objectively better the further down the scale you go; this is because they are literal replacements of the previous, with better stats. It does not work like that here, outside of evolutions nothing can act as a full replacement for something else. There are things that can fill the same niche but it is very unlikely they will be exactly the same. The armor in Runescape has to scale like that, because if it did not and Dragon was more common than anything else, few people would ever bother with Rune and it wouldn't be anywhere near as valuable as it had the potential to be. It also scales with your defense level too and becomes almost a requirement to upgrade because the tasks at hand need you to kill harder and more powerful mobs.
21. And why do you consider it to be a bad comparison Gilan?

MewTwo

Very well done, however I'm not sure this warranted the creation of a new thread.

Pokemon Skins

This doesn't seem very feasible, at least not in the way that is depicted in the pictures above.
24. These changes have occured because as the name suggests, PokeMMO is an MMORPG and as such requires an MMO environment to maintain balance and create a stable economy. The handheld games were not designed with a mass multiplayer environment in mind and an economy simply would not work with vanilla mechanics. Because of this, we will not be reverting them.
25. https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/54506-official-tournament-prizes/?p=1081323 I don't wish for this thread to go off topic so please continue the discussion.
