  1. Game of Thrones season 8 is like setting up a game of dominoes, except that once you're done setting them up, you decide to jump into the middle of them, knocking them all over at once. It's entertaining, but it probably would have been more entertaining if they were knocked over properly.
  2. That's correct, to add to this (so we're entirely clear here) giving braces to a parent to hold effectively ensures that the one of those three 'directly passed' rolls is the stat you wanted.
  3. This doesn't apply to all legendaries - just those that would normally fit into the 'ubers' tier. It's these ones that we likely won't be making obtainable, but those that aren't in this tier will be.
  4. Diano seems to have answered this sufficiently.
  5. Yes it does. As you've pointed out here: Using these legendaries makes the game significantly easier. Which means that the baseline for time and effort required to earn anything via battles (such as money) goes down. Which means that more money floods into the game, which means that prices begin to inflate across the board. It affects absolutely everyone's gameplay, you should expand your scope.
  6. Its encounter rate is not affected by game time.
  7. No, only items with the 'colorable' tag can be dyed.
  8. Hi MosesBrenner, The Detective Cap is not a limited vanity, however the -20% sale on the Overcoat is only available for a limited time.
  9. This isn't meant as a jab, but you're likely correct, I'm not sure why problem is in quotes. I thought I'd quote this part of your post to make a general statement. But we're certainly aware this is an issue, and [in my opinion] it's very likely due to a disparity with both amounts of items and yen coming in and going out. We plan on developing ways to analyze these numbers further and come up with solutions based on our findings. I'd love to speak more on the issue but I wouldn't want to put a definitive on it beforehand. In regards to the point brought up in the OP - the mechanics behind stacks in the GTL are not very friendly to the average player looking to sell their loot, and might be something we focus our attention on improving.
  10. That's the idea, but we're responsible for both the supply and (on some level, in terms of utility) the demand.
  11. The better solution would be to try and fix the inflation/deflation accordingly, as the NPC vendors themselves are supposed to be 'balance point' if you will. If we're having to adjust them, that means we messed up somewhere down the line.
  12. That's incorrect, you're thinking of the 'Relic Copper' The Lucky Copper Coin is an item that was given to players during the Lunar New Year event, at this time, players could turn it in (in addition to a Lucky Gold Coin) for a gift box containing prizes.
  13. Not really, no. The reason it does that is because the afro is so large I have to replace it with a default hairstyle used by all non-conforming hats when a hat is equipped to make the layering work. If I were to rework the afro to fit within the confines of this layering, it would cease to be an afro.
  14. 'Smogon' rules are actually our own ruleset with inspiration taken from that format, but that's semantics. The real issue is that adding multiple formats like this that adhere to a completely different ruleset splits the community and makes things harder for new players to understand. You're interested in competitive play, and already know the difference between 'Smogon' and 'VGC' rules, but to a new player neither of these are something they understand, it's all just 'competitive' to them. We'd also have to sustain 2 rulesets when it's a challenge at times to sustain 1. So then the question becomes "Well which ruleset do we take as our standard?" And the answer (as you've seen) is 'Smogon', because we came to the conclusion that they're considerably better balanced. It's not unlikely that we might include VGC rules in battle options in the future, but it's probably unlikely that we'd include it as a standard format such as in matchmaking.
  15. It might seem minor to you, but color co-ordination is very important to overall aesthetic polish; something which can be a deciding factor for many people when choosing whether or not to play.
  16. I'll elaborate on this. We want to balance PvE and PvP in the same way; this is because we believe the content should be treated the same way, rather than two separate formats, it's all just "battling" - this has the added benefit of making both easy to grasp. In addition, we are actively trying to avoid having monsters placed into 'Ubers' as it is effectively a ban list. As we see it - once something reached ubers, it is past the point of being balanced, and our goal is to keep this game balanced wherever possible. If this requires removing the ability to learn moves, reverting stat changes or not applying later mechanics to moves, then we'll opt to do so; we try to avoid straying too far from vanilla if it can be helped.
  17. Sounds good - your furthest right example looks great, so I have no doubt they'll turn out fine in the end result!
  18. Hey Fixedgaming, this is a really neat service that I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate. I just wanted to mention that the first 2 gifs in your example seem a little 'fuzzy' around the edges - this is usually caused by an option called 'auto-aliasing' when cutting the sprites out of the frames; it might be worth checking whether this is switched on or not when you're cutting them out to stop this from happening.
  19. Apologies that they are not immediate, but vanities as Tournament prizes are on the agenda, however we are currently reserving them for further developments to automated tournaments.
  20. Hi xKazue, I'd like to refer you to an earlier post of mine, here where I go a little more in depth about this decision.
  21. Sure you can, there are plenty in the Global Trade Link. If you're referring to some specific rare ones - then yes, that's why they're considered rare.
  22. To encourage you to play together.
  23. It wasn't, we just overlooked it due to time constraints.
