I was the same way, got it on launch day and played it about a month, then had to delete it because i foolishly bought a phone with only 8 gb's of storage... Anyways last year in June I downloaded it and I just recently hit level 39, so I'm making decent progress. My brother is level 40 and has been for a while and he tried to make a Pokestop but you have to be level 40 in Pokemon GO and level 10 in Niantics other game, Ingress(iirc). It also takes forever to level up in Ingress and it's also a very dead and boring game compared to Pokemon GO imo. Anyways, I'm pretty casual, but do play with the more hardcore raiders when there's an event like yesterday's suicune day, only got 21 raids in which is low for an event like that for me, but I had to start later then I would have liked. Ok, so I went to bed last night disappointed that the thread got deleted, but I am glad it is back as we all have more to discuss. Going forward we as a community have some decisions to be made, those decisions are as follows: Do we go by real life election time or in game time? To me in game time makes more sense as the mayor is the mayor of the game. What will the term limits be? Do we go by two terms only? A solidified date, whether its every year or every 2. I think sometime in the summer would be appropriate seeing as PokeMMO was released sometime in or around summer of 2012? (Need confirmation, my memory is fuzzy on this. As for another election some people might chop up what Kyu said as gospel and call it good, but I am not. For the simple fact that the mayor role is and never was decided by the mods, it was by the people. I would like to get the above done first before going onto the election. I am open to all criticism/ideas/opinions/suggestions/memes anything that can be done to reach a conclusion that hopefully the majority will be happy with.

My apologizes, I did a quick glance and noticed that most of your videos have around 500 views with the exception of the first four, this will not happen again. I think Senile covered it pretty well above. However, I am curious as to why you would not want me hosting an election, I have not been dishonest at all, I have typed what I believe in and what I believe should happen, but if you have a problem with that I have no problem going to another person. I just want to do it because I know I will do it right, fair, and most importantly correct. I have discussed my intentions with numerous people as to how voting should take place and I believe I have found a solid solution as to how it should happen. Also I am not going by real life election years, I stated very clearly in my original post that I used in game time for this, and it has been over 4 years in PokeMMO time since the last election.

Alright, so the purpose of this was not to doubt your abilities to help the community, rather to spark the idea another election because if someone is in office for so long, at what point do they stop being a mayor and become say a dictator? With that being said, I have to disagree with you claiming that the poverty rate has changed has been directly changed because of your videos. At most your videos on how to make money get 500 views, taking into account people that watch your videos for fun and already know how to make money/random people stopping by, you are really not impacting as many people as you think. On top of that the overall majority of players nowadays seem to be Chinese, and I highly doubt they are watching videos in English on how to make money, so claiming anything about changing the poverty rate is absolutely ridiculous.Albeit this could all change if you translate it all like you have stated, but for now it's factually false information, there is no correlation. Also what is the poverty line in PokeMMO? Everyone plays the game differently and just because you can't afford to buy a new team of 6 comps or a new shiny every week does not mean you are poor. This is also far from a troll post, I am invested in this as I believe in fair politics whether it be in real life or on here, and the injustices are strong.

Alright, got some good feedback and some meme feedback, all of which is equally important. So going forward in these next couple of days, I will take the initiative and make the necessary threads in order to have a re-election take place. I want to do it because I know it will be done right and fairly. @Akshit I was thinking the same thing last night about how to properly do votes, I think a forum vote would be the best option and have a criteria of voting. If you think I won't go through every vote even if there are thousands, you are dead wrong, I will weed out the frauds because I have nothing better to do with my time right now. Ideally I would genuinely like to see the title of "Mayor" have some sort of sway and with the title would come representing the communities within the community, those being competitive, trading and so on. The next step will be Pre-elections.

It has come to my attention as a diligent bystander and Civilian of PokeMMO that we all have a pressing matter to address. That matter being the current state of mayor in PokeMMO. It drastically needs an overhaul, to start off with our current mayor has been in office far to long without a re-election taking place. Going by in game time, every 6 hours in real life is 1 day in PokeMMO, so every 24 hours in real life there will be 4 days in PokeMMO. Doing some quick math, our current mayor has been in office since march of 2018, so roughly a year and 2 months in real life. With that being said, 365 x 4 = 1,460 days plus take 2 months 60 x 4 = 240 our current mayor has been in office for roughly 1,700 days in game time, give or take some days. The term of a typical mayor is 4 years, to not have a re-election violates the most basic rules of democracy and order, if we ignore this we might as well not even call someone mayor as they do not seem to abide by the rules set in place. The fact that our current mayor or his team of advisers did not take the initiative to involve themselves in doing another campaign just shows the corruption and lack of responsibility. There simply are no checks and balances in place currently to stop this from happening, it needs change. My solution is as follows: Host a yearly vote on who gets to be mayor, held on the same date so hopefully someone remembers. Only 2 terms of 8 years total will be allowed (Using in game time) If in the case that Bestfriends runs for re-election and wins he will serve out his term accordingly taking into account the days he has already gone over. If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions feel free to post them. As well as if I have any false information or my math is off, please tell me and I will edit my post accordingly.

Can't say i'm happy with the ending, I'm not a huge Jon Snow fan, but imo he got fucked over, he made the ultimate sacrifice and was basically told "Thank you for what you did, now go away" In case you're a reeeee and haven't watched the episode, and for whatever reason you are reading this thread, don't open the spoiler or even read my post. Can't wait for "Arya tours the ocean NOW ON HBO" the wolf getting his good boi pets was the best part. overall ending 4.5/10 overall show 8/10 (not taking into account season 8, if I did that just wouldn't be a fair score) Just my opinions

So I started GoT like 2~ weeks ago, binged it all and here I am. Glad I waited this long to watch it, because I'd be pissed if I had to wait over a year just for a season like this. The writers have lost their balls, to me there isn't that uncertainty anymore if a character is going to die or not, and I enjoyed that. Overall I've liked it thus far, really disappointed with the night kings death, and Theons death. I think it would have been better if Theon made a distraction and then Arya swooped in, instead she manged to get in front of all the whitewalkers with none of them doing anything? I get she's a trained assassin but I mean, come on dude. 8.5/10, i'll give it a 9.5/10 if Jon dies. Just my thoughts on it

I love these posts, they always get a little needlessly heated, offer no viable solutions and above all you can almost bet there will be 1 or more posts a week talking about the economy. I read these in hopes that someone is creative enough to find the solution to fix our 'problem' but I have yet to see a solution that I believe could actually work.

When can we start the draft of the Pokemmo constitution along with a judiciary system with multi-level courts, as eazydog said above these people can be paid with from GTL taxes. SirDusty for Pokemmo Supreme Court, I promise to up-hold our constitutional rights and values.

So when are re-elections not that bestfriends isn't a great mayor, because he is, but @Crimar got robbed at the last election.

Region based is completely fine, the devs of this game should not have to cater to people that seem to be to lazy to even finish the story line. Also I'm satisfied with this event already so knock that 100% down to like 99.999999%
