ok golem it's a given it's a lost, I did it as I was bored and mineral breeders are well.. rather easy to find and I really liked to use him as a lead in gen3. I thought about doing it, several times, started a heracross back when they were 20m, almost, by several occasions thought about buying a houndour to start breeding last year(2016), gave away a half bred breloom(so spent what? 21m on it, it was rather cheap, maybe 7m in breeders, I'm pretty positive I wouldn't recover that cash), I still don't see any profit in doing so. People who collect higher value shinies, collect them for being shinies, and some even like the fact that they have a OT, and a date/place, a comp shiny zard, will hold the same value as a non comp, as it mostly sought after as a simbol of wealth for example, plus high tier shiny comps have an unstable market. I just can't see it man.

I'm curious tho, show me screenshots or anything, were you/someone, didn't low ball someone and got the shiny breeders for cheap, and sold a comp with profit. Only one I can say I made profit was on a gyarados, and was due to random nature. edit: sounds like I tried to attack you, sorry for that, just curious, cause I've bred 8 shinies so far, profit was null, and I even got some breeders for pretty low values in GTL.

I mean breeding a comp, as stated previously. Obviously, you can trick some less informed people into overpaying for a breeder. And yeah I know some of those people, they usually either break even, or 1/27 chance they usually profit, pretty legit money making method awk.

No, the point is, you either collect them, which is the main idea, or you breed shiny PLUS shiny, in order to make a shiny comp. Is not something most can afford to do of the bat, but is something pretty fun to do imo, heck I even made a golem, it's always a waste of cash, you'll never profit doing it.

3k, up to near 4k if you use donator, to a exp.share pokemon. 6~7.5k to a single pokemon lead

Was just to give an alternate to just reseting it, to offer something more, so that people would be eager to compete instead of being a clown fiesta, in which on the top100, maybe 50 of them right now are actually good, and most of those, are not even near the top10 Problem for this is, unlike in league in which you have a huuuge player base, that will fill the gaps between each tier, here, you won't see that happening, you'll probably see something like 40-50% going into really low rank, 30-40% being plat or higher, the others being moving between tiers, and eventually, you'll have bronzes facing plats, etc( probably didn't explain me very well, will try to after I'm done with work.). This would be awesome but the same applies here, one or two ranks, will consist of a good portion of the population, while anothers will be empty due to lack of players.

Without trolling tho, a mixed venusaur isn't a terrible way of dealing with tentacruel as it learns EQ, but outside of that niche, there's nothing that would make him viable as a physical attacker afaik.

by normal breeding is 1/30k, or at least should be? By shiny + shiny breeding, it's 100%. It is possible, well, you just go by the 1/30k rule I guess. Never tested, wont test. proven it is not possible, on the posts below.

Ideally you want the right stats to be 31, in this case, a venusaur won't take much value from atk, so the IVs you'd want are 31/x/31/31/31/31/even/31/30/31/30(hidden power fire), they don't need to be perfect, but always try to make them as perfect as you can. EV wise, should complement the IVs and nature of the pokemon but that will be different from pokemon to pokemon.

Right now the elo system is easily abused by quantity, over quality of gameplay, meaning someone with 50-52% win rate, but 1k total combats will be able to achieve more than someone with 100 games, but 60% win rate. My suggestion is, every month, place a ladder reset or even create seasons like in other games. At the end of the given seasons, you'd reward the players somehow who achieved X position in the ladder. And this way you'd prevent ladder abuse, and keep it clean.

Do you have a FPS problem, or a ping problem? write /ping ingame, and use some software to check your fps like fraps or something.

@Aerun This is like having a coin, flipping it, and in 20 tries, never see heads tbh(bad example as it's not accurate, but gets the message across I guess). Not saying is impossible, just is really damn hard to see that happen. I still find funny how after 1 day of complaint, me, Terresa and some others found a shiny, but yeah without proof, we can't talk shit if rates are rigged or anything, we got to go by what they say.

Although like you said, it could be abused by teams etc, plenty of ways one could abuse it, but yeah would be awesome to see something extra to that event that currently other than a pokedex entry, offers nothing.

Just mail the pokemons, if the chars are under the same account, you could ask a team member to help you transfer or something.
