Need a pro's help for lunar new year event

Can someone give a good guide on how to reach 3rd boss or more? I find umbreon very hard to use efficiently and don't know which pokemon are best to use evolution charm and strength charm. I'm not sure on which pokemon zodiac wave is best to start with.

 

Basically, if there's someone who can show me a good strategy to reach 3rd boss or more, please do share. I would really appreciate it! ^^

There s infinite strats

However umbreon has crunch

It s good against spoink, slowpoke (if an useful item shows like expert belt, muscle band, Black glasses....) 

It can be à good switch when psychic attack type is there

It can as well be played as bait

It is a good healer

It also Can be useful if double fight is needed

Do you know if a bug which prevented two nearby players from join together a battle has been fixed?

Not a bug

But you must have only 1 poke

And that one poke is the one Who must start thé battle, while the other player must be very close to him

You generally want have a good start.

This means don't lose any lives otherwise the nian will become desperate and you can't continue after defeating it. Don't waste unnecessary pp. After the 1st boss get your buddies to the shrine. 2 buddies for support  like scout and heal and 2 for clearing the waves. Calcs are needed in this event. 

1) Don't get caught. 

2) Get all the items.

3) Learn / Find best methods for certain waves. Once you get past the 3rd boss double battles will be mandatory for certain encounters otherwise you will lose.
